Republican voters continued to coalesce around Donald Trump
Republican presidential nominee Donald Trump today is outperforming Mitt Romney at a similar point in the 2012 race.
But, that won’t stop the diehard stragglers of the #NeverTrump movement from stomping their feet and pounding the walls.
#NeverTrumper Erick Erickson, determined as ever to ruin his career, called on Mitt Romney to run again as a third party candidate.
What makes it even more insane is that Erickson admits he didn’t support Mitt in 2008 and 2012.

Conservative blogger and radio host Erick Erickson wants Mitt Romney to launch a third-party bid for president.
Erickson wrote Friday that he would “gladly work for a Romney presidency given the choices between Clinton and Trump.”
“There is more and more data out there that the time is right for a third party bid,” Erickson wrote. “More and more Americans are horrified and disgusted at the thought of voting for either Trump or Clinton.”Erickson has said he would never vote for Donald Trump and has opposed Romney during his previous presidential runs.
The 2012 GOP nominee briefly spearheaded the recruiting efforts for a third-party candidate but said Wednesday he wouldn’t run himself and has dropped the search for another viable candidate.
Even worse…. Romney called off his search for a third party candidate on Thursday.
