On Tuesday Trump Campaign Manager Corey Lewandowski was charged with battery for brushing up against a female reporter at a campaign rally.
Video was released that shows the reporter, Michelle Fields, did not flinch, did not change her facial expression, did not even notice Lewandowski during the incident. Fields later charged Lewandowsky with “battery.”
Fields also wrote about the alleged attack the day after the incident.
It was filled with lies and inaccuracies.
Fields was not “jolted backwards.” She was not “yanked down.” Lewandowski did not “try to throw reporters to the ground.”
After the charges were announced Piers Morgan went off on a Twitter tirade in defense of Lewandowski and men everywhere.
Morgan pointed out a male reporter would be “rightly mocked” if he tried to press charges for the brush-up.
Via Breitbart:
If a male reporter tried to claim this was 'battery', he'd be rightly mocked.
Toughen up, @MichelleFields. https://t.co/JuysRTwRTJ— Piers Morgan (@piersmorgan) March 29, 2016
“Utterly pathetic”
That's it?
This constitutes a criminal charge of 'battery'?
How utterly pathetic. https://t.co/FYgow4cAjr— Piers Morgan (@piersmorgan) March 29, 2016
