Mitt Romney Cuts Anti-Kasich Robocalls for Ted Cruz in Utah – After Supporting Kasich in Ohio

After cutting calls for Marco Rubio in Florida, who lost by double digits, Mitt Romney is recording calls for Ted Cruz in Utah.

Fickle Mitt…
Mitt Romney is recording anti-Kasich robocalls for Ted Cruz in Utah today.

This comes after he cut Kasich robocalls in Ohio.

The Daily Caller reported:

Mitt Romney has recorded robocalls for Republican presidential candidate Ted Cruz ahead of Arizona’s primary and Utah’s caucuses on Tuesday, The Daily Caller has learned.

The Cruz campaign says the robocalls were dropped in Arizona today and will go out in Utah tomorrow.

“Hello, this is Mitt Romney,” the robocalls begin. “And I’m calling to ask you to join me in supporting Ted Cruz for president this Tuesday in the Utah Republican caucuses. This is the time for Republicans across the spectrum to unite behind Ted. He is the only Republican candidate who can defeat Donald Trump, and at this point a vote for John Kasich is a vote for Donald Trump.”

The ads were paid for by Cruz for President.
