Ted Cruz Says He’s Not Running For “Pastor in Chief” …But Will Still Deliver Sermon at South Carolina Church Sunday

Ted Cruz is sounding more like a preacher than a politician these last few weeks.

In Hamlin, Iowa earlier this month Cruz called on supporters to “Awaken the Body of Christ.”

Here’s the video:

** In South Carolina this week Ted’s wife Heidi told radio host Vince Coakley that Ted was running “to show the country the face of God we serve.”

On Friday, Canadian-born Senator Ted Cruz told The Brody File that he is not running for Pastor-in-Chief, that he’s running for Commander in Chief.

This is a bit odd considering Cruz is slated to deliver the sermon Sunday at the Community Bible Church of Beaufort, South Carolina.
