British lawmakers debated banning Donald Trump from Great Britain today.
British MPs scheduled the debate after 500,000 people signed an anti-Trump petition. The petition was started after Trump suggested the US should temporarily ban all Muslim immigrants from the US.
So now they’re going to spend three hours talking Trump.

The Sydney Morning Herald reported:
Britain’s opposition leader has invited US Republican presidential candidate Donald Trump, who sparked an outcry by calling for a ban on Muslims from entering the United States, to join him on a visit to a London mosque.
The comments from Labour leader Jeremy Corbyn, a socialist who represents a multi-ethnic district of north London, come a day before the British parliament debates a motion calling for a ban on Trump – who is half Scottish – from visiting the UK.
Mr Corbyn said he did not support banning Mr Trump, so he was instead looking to introduce the controversial American to multicultural London…
…The billionaire frontrunner for the Republican presidential nomination called for a ban on Muslims entering the US following a shooting spree by two Muslims who the FBI said had been radicalised. He had also made xenophobic comments about Latinos and pledged to build a concrete wall between the United States and Mexico to stop illegal immigration.
British MPs are due to debate on Monday a petition signed by more than half a million people calling for Mr Trump to be banned from Britain, although the debate will not be followed by a vote.
Mr Trump has threatened to cancel over £700 million ($1.45 million) of investments in golf courses in Scotland if Britain slaps him with a travel ban.
He has also been involved in a spat with the Scottish government over plans they approved for an offshore wind farm project near one of his golf courses, calling former first minister Alec Salmond “an embarrassment to Scotland”.
