Chicago Gang Fight Causes $10K Damage To Cemetery

Three people were arrested for their alleged part in a gang fight that led to $10,000 in damages to a Chicago cemetery.

A gang fight inside Mount Olive Cemetery led to a car getting stuck on a headstone and about $10,000 of damage to other headstones Tuesday afternoon, according to police.

Three cars were in the cemetery on Narragansett Avenue in the Dunning neighborhood before 6 p.m. Tuesday when members of two cars started fighting and the third car fled, police said.

At some point, one of the remaining two cars hit ten headstones and got stuck on top of one. Police took two people into custody from that car. [Read More…]
