Maryland sheriff Mike Lewis and his deputies were called into Baltimore tonight to keep the peace.
The residents flipped them off from inside a church.
Leland Vitter: What’s the reception you’ve gotten as you arrived?
Sheriff Lewis: As you well know this is ground zero. This is where it’s all taking place. And we’ve been standing here it’s hard to believe next to a Memorial Baptist Church. Folks inside the church are prohibited from coming outside the church have been giving us the finger the entire time we’re here. And it’s shocking to see medic bans on their arms giving law enforcement the middle finger. We’re here solely to help the citizens of this city.
