Finally, after all these years, Barack Obama finally got to spend quality time with Communist leader Raul Castro.
The two leaders met up today in Panama.

Obama lifted sanctions on Cuba last December, not because they deserved it, they’re still the brutal Communists they’ve always been. Obama lifted sanctions because he said they weren’t working (for the Communist regime). The Examiner reported:
President Obama met with Cuban President Raul Castro at an international summit in Panama on Saturday and emerged from the meeting saying it’s time for the two countries, long at odds, to “try something new.” Obama called the meeting, the first of its kind between a sitting U.S. president and a leader of Cuba in half a century, “historic.” “We are now in a position to move on a path toward the future,” Obama said. He also said, “Over time it is possible for us to turn the page and develop a new relationship between our two countries.” The U.S. recently loosened restrictions on a 30-year embargo against Cuba. Obama said one of the first tasks at hand is for the two countries to open embassies in Washington and Cuba.
Castro said Obama is an honest man.
@CombatJourno @billpostmus Reassuring to know O is held in more esteem by Commies than most of American people.
