Warren: “It’s Not The Size Of Government That Worries People”

During a speech at the Center for American Progress Wednesday, the National Journal reports that Democrat Senator, Elizabeth Warren, said that people aren’t worried about the size of Government:

” At the CAP event, which was more policy-centric, Warren pushed back against GOP claims that the midterm elections were a referendum on government overreach.

“One thing has not changed: The stock market and GDP continue to go up, while families around this country are getting squeezed harder and harder,” she said. “This is not about big government or small government. It’s not the size of government that worries people. Rather, it’s a concern for who government works for.”

If Senator Warren really does have Presidential aspirations she may wish to exit her Progressive echo chamber. Because according to a recent Gallop poll the American people list Government among one of their top concerns. And last year 72% of the American people saw Big Government as the greatest threat.

But then again, if Warren actually listened to the demands of the American people, she wouldn’t be considered… a Progressive.
