The Daily Beast reported:
White residents of St. Louis County, Missouri—home to Ferguson—say they believe a police officer’s shooting of Michael Brown was justified. In a poll of the area, 65 percent of African-American inhabitants thought Officer Darren Wilson acted unjustly by killing 18-year-old Brown, while 62 percent of whites found the death justified. The opinion divide showed up again when pollsters asked if Wilson should be arrested and charged. Seventy-one percent of African Americans said he should, while the same percentage of whites said he should not.
