#FergusonOctober Rally Flops; Only 3,000 Attend–Flag Burning Drives Down Support

After garnering nationwide publicity via sympathetic media and being scheduled in advance on a three-day holiday weekend, the Ferguson October rally drew a measly 3,000 participants on Saturday according to a post on the organizer’s Twitter account.

“Final count 3k Today: One of the largest in #STL history. Demanding Justice for All #FergusonOctober”

The Gateway Pundit’s report on Saturday’s protest is at this link. The Gateway Pundit reported hundreds at the rally.

It is likely the dominance of radical anti-American leftists kept many would be Mike Brown supporters away. The weekend-long protests are listed by the official Ferguson October website as being endorsed by communist, anti-American, pro-terrorist groups like Code Pink, United for Peace and Justice and Veterans for Peace. Also listed as an endorser of the protest is the racist, anti-Semitic New Black Panther Party, which put out a dead or alive bounty on George Zimmerman in the Trayvon Martin case.

The Revolutionary Communist Party is also a player in the protest according to a report in the Chicago Sun-Times.

The burning of American flags on Thursday night in the related #ShawShooting protests was a big turnoff and caused one group of about fifty veterans traveling to Ferguson to turn back in disgust.

In contrast to the meager 3,000 claimed attendance at the free and open to the public Ferguson October rally, Saturday night’s baseball playoff game in St. Louis between the Cardinals and San Francisco Giants is expecting a sellout crowd at Busch Stadium of about 44,000 people. Ferguson October protesters are promising to show up at the game.
