Fox News host Greg Gutfeld blasted wealthy white leftist British comedian Russell Brand for his recent racist attack on black conservative author Jason Riley. Gutfeld made his remarks on Monday’s edition of the Fox News show, The Five, which Gutfeld co-hosts.

As The Gateway Pundit reported Sunday, Brand posted a 10 minute video last week of himself lecturing Riley on how to think black which was taped while Brand was riding around London in the back of a chauffeur-driven limousine.

Brand was responding to commentary by Riley and Gutfeld made on Fox News about the riots in Ferguson, Missouri this month about the deadly shooting of an unarmed 18 year old black male robber by a white policeman during a confrontation.

Gutfeld picked up on a key point reported by TGP: That Brand did not mention Gutfeld’s race (white) in responding to Gutfeld’s comments on Ferguson but that he did mention Riley’s race.

Riley is a member of the Wall Street Journal’s Editorial Board, a Fox News contributor and author of the recently published book Stop Helping Us; How Liberals Make It Harder for Blacks to Succeed.

Excerpt of transcript by Real Clear Politics:

“…You know it’s bad when a left-wing commie scum named Russell Brand actually weighs in. He actually lectured [Wall Street Journal opinion writer] Jason Riley, who is black, on how to be black. He accused Jason Riley of betraying his racial roots because he asserted some conservative perspective about what was going on. He also said Jason Riley probably lives in a white neighborhood and went on to mock Jason Riley’s white-sounding voice.

“The interesting thing is Brand went after me as well, but he didn’t mention my race. He only mentioned Jason’s race, which makes him a racist…”

Gutfeld went on to urge Brand to confront Islamist bigotry in his own country instead of meddling in American affairs.

Brand’s videotaped racist attacks on Riley as transcribed with context by TGP:

Brand posted the video, entitled Ferguson: Is White Supremacy The Real Offender? Russell Brand The Trews (E129), last (Thursday) the 21st of August.

The main subject of Brand’s video is Fox News. Brand spends the first four minutes of the video responding to comments by white Fox News Channel host Greg Gutfeld about the situation in Ferguson, Missouri. At no point does Brand bring up Gutfeld’s race. He just engages Gutfeld on the merits.

Brand then shows a clip of Jason Riley being introduced on an episode of Fox News Special Report as the author of Please Stop Helping Us; How Liberals Make It Harder for Blacks to Succeed.

Brand immediately launches in to a racist attack on Riley:

“…author of the book, I Am a Convenient African-American Who Will Betray My Racial Roots for Fox News.”

Brand does spend time discussing points made by Riley about Ferguson on holding black society accountable for its dysfunctional behavior saying that it kills blacks more than does bad cops, but Brand resorts to racist attacks again and again.

He mocks the title of Riley’s book again as “We Deserve to Be Shot.”

Brand goes on to say, “Could he act any more of a Richard Pryor doing the voice of a white person type voice?”

And, “He’s getting the work because it’s not often you can find someone willing to take such a freakish stance.”

And in closing, “I imagine he lives in a white neighborhood that fellow…(gibberish)… I’m a white person, I’m outraged almost racially by this sense of betrayal.”

Brand posted his racist attack on Riley to You Tube five days ago. So far Gutfeld is the only person in the media to call out Brand for his racism.

There is no criticism from Hollywood either even though Brand has starred and done voice work in several American comedy and children’s films in recent years.
