Illegal immigrants cross the Rio Grande (4News)
Following on the heels of the Fox News report highlighted by The Gateway Pundit (and picked up by the Drudge Report) of unreported bodies of young illegal immigrant children being found on the Texas side of the banks of the Rio Grande comes a news report of the discovery of a Central American boy’s body floating in the Rio Grande.
The Hidalgo County Sheriff’s office recovered the body early Tuesday morning, according to KFXZ-TV.
“Just hours ago, Hidalgo County sheriff’s investigators responded to the area of 15th street and Texas boulevard in Hidalgo after reports of a body found in the water.
“Authorities were able to pull the body from the Rio Grande River and determined it belongs to a young boy, possibly from Central America.
“The boy’s age and identity were not revealed pending an autopsy to determine a cause of death.”
Hidalgo County is where the only other death of an illegal alien child in this tidal wave of illegal immigration has been acknowledged by authorities.
Gilberto Ramos, a 15 year-old boy from Guatemala was found lying in brush dead from the heat over a month ago. His death was not announced by authorities for two weeks.
Fox News’ Jana Winter buried in her report from the border that several bodies of young children have been found by authorities on the banks of the Rio Grande.
“The life jackets helped many make it across the Rio Grande from Reynosa, the Mexican city across the water from Mission, just west of McAllen. Sources say they come over on rafts ferried by the so-called “coyotes,” the human smugglers whose means of transport are rendered useless whenever discovered by the Border Patrol. Many don’t make it across the river; multiple sources became emotional when recounting their discoveries of small, lifeless bodies washed up along the riverbank.”
The Obama administration flew back the first planeload of deportees to Honduras yesterday. Forty women and children, out of the tens of thousands who have illegally entered America in recent months, were returned to their home country.
