The International Federation of Red Cross and Red Crescent Societies (IFRC) was founded in 1919 in Paris in the aftermath of World War I. It’s vision: “To inspire, encourage, facilitate and promote at all times all forms of humanitarian activities by National Societies, with a view to preventing and alleviating human suffering, and thereby contributing to the maintenance and promotion of human dignity and peace in the world.” The Red Crescent was started because Muslims were offended by the Red Cross.
But if its vision to promote peace, why is the Red Crescent working with ISIS terrorists in Syria?
Red Crescent vans were pictured this week distributing food supplies with ISIS members.
The Red Crescent van is leading a convoy of ISIS members driving food trucks.
The trucks were filled with food supplies.
ISIS members unload the Red Crescent food trucks.
This reportedly occurred in Deir al-Zawr province in Syria.
UPDATE: ISIS put up video of the mujahideen distributing (Red Crescent) aid in al-Khair province.
