WI DEM GUBERNATORIAL CANDIDATE to Pass Out KKK Hoods at GOP Convention

Democratic State Representative and gubernatorial candidate Brett Hulsey is going to Milwaukee this weekend to hand out KKK hoods at the GOP state convention.

And the Wisconsin Democratic Party is silent.

The Milwaukee Journal Sentinel reported:

The Madison representative running for governor got little attention for his plan announced earlier this week to portray Republicans as modern-day secessionists by dressing up as confederate soldiers and parading outside the GOP convention in Milwaukee.

So Hulsey said that he sewed a handful of Ku Klux Klan hoods to take with him in an attempt to mock Republicans. Standing in the rain outside the state Capitol Thursday without an aide or other sign of a viable campaign in sight, Hulsey showed off the ragged hood he had made to a reporter.

Much more here.

For the record, the Republican Party, was established in Wisconsin in 1854 due to it being the first publicized anti-slavery meeting to propose a new party with its name being Republican.

When the Civil War ended, and after Republican President Abraham Lincoln liberated the slaves in the south, Democrats initiated Jim Crow laws to punish blacks. Democrats discriminated against blacks. In fact, the KKK, was founded as the the terrorist wing of the Democrat Party.
