MILWAUKEE – Democrats can hide from Obamacare for only so long.

Wisconsin Democratic gubernatorial candidate Mary Burke has been very coy when asked about Obamacare. Burke will mention Gov. Walker’s rejection of federal Medicaid dollars, but has carefully avoided endorsing or actively throwing her support behind the unpopular healthcare law.
But it appears Mary Burke wasn’t so careful in the past – particularly during the 2008 presidential campaign.
A new video released by the Republican Party of Wisconsin reveals Mary Burke speaking at an Obama campaign event in 2008 touting the prospect of the President Obama’s health reform.
In the video, Burke says, “It doesn’t mean that the government’s going to tell you which doctors to go to, or which plan to have, or that you have to leave your employer’s (coverage).”
