Long-time progressive Congressman John Conyers failed to make the ballot because he didn’t collect enough signatures. But it pays to have friends in high places.
It turns out the federal judge and ordered Conyers on the ballot after the Secretary of State ruled he had insufficient signatures was – wait for it – appointed by President Obama last year.
