There was a massive earthquake minutes ago just off the coast of Chile.
It said the quake was very shallow, only 6.2 miles (10 km) below the seabed, which would have made it feel stronger. It was centered 53 miles (86 km) northwest of Iquique.
More… A tsunami wave has been generated.
The earthquake was upgraded to 8.2.

USGS: 8.2 quake off Chile was followed by a strong 6.2-magnitude aftershock about 10 minutes later.
