NEW YORK STATE Drops Court Date Against Conservative James O’Keefe

okeefe court

In January James O’Keefe and Project Veritas revealed the New York Department of Labor has hit his office in Westchester County, N.Y., with demands for financial documents for months. James compared it to IRS targeting of conservative groups nationwide. This came after NY Governor Cuomo said conservative-leaning individuals had no place in New York state.

Following the media blowback at Governor Cuomo over his intolerant remarks, the state of New York dropped the subpoena against O’Keefe and Project Veritas.
Project Veritas reported:

Following our announcement that Governor Cuomo and the New York Labor Department were unfairly targeting James O’Keefe and Project Veritas, the subpoena court date to show up with a three years of financial records has been cancelled.

Last Monday morning staff at the NY Department of Labor called Project Veritas to inform us that the court date had been cancelled and provided no more information. No rescheduling has been requested.

Could this be a result of the media blowback at Governor Cuomo given his recent statement that conservatives don’t belong in New York?

It’s hard to ignore headlines such as “ Obama, de Blasio and Cuomo thrive on political revenge.
