But, President George W. Bush would not accept defeat.
Despite the best efforts of Democrats and the media, Bush implemented a surge of US forces that turned the war around.
And General David H. Petraeus led the charge.

Yet rather than celebrating General Petraeus’s achievements, the American left today calls him a war criminal.
Far left idiots chased David Petraeus down a street and called him “war criminal” on his first day of classes at City University of New York this week.
