It’s become a familiar sight on the Las Vegas Strip. Thousands of union protestors marched and shouted in front of the Cosmopolitan Las Vegas Friday afternoon.

It was the third such large-scale protest this year. Metro police on Friday night confirmed a little over 100 protestors were arrested.

Protestors said they were prepared to be arrested. Metro police said they were ready for anything. Several lanes of traffic were blocked off on Harmon Avenue and Las Vegas Boulevard.

Culinary Union members said they’ve been waiting two and a half years on a contract from Cosmopolitan owner Deutsche Bank.

“I’m going to do whatever it takes to win this fight,” protestor Laura Javier said.
