Tax Payer Dollars At Work: Good News: An Early Bird Obamacare Propaganda Video Has Been Announced

Obamacare Early Bird winner for a propaganda video chosen according to HHS. Good news: $30,000 tax payer dollars will be given in prizes.
HHS.gov reports the following:
In late August, Health and Human Services (HHS) Secretary Kathleen Sebelius announced the launch of the Healthy Young America Video Contest. Today, Secretary Sebelius is announcing HHS’ first winner in the contest, Jason Girouard from Brimfield, Mass. Girouard’s video called “We are not invincible, we are human” took home our early bird prize of $1,500. The early bird submission deadline was September 2.
The Healthy Young America Video Contest is designed to inform young people about the importance of health insurance and the new options available to them through the Affordable Care Act. The early bird prize is the first awarded in a prize pool of more than 100 prizes and $30,000.
While the early bird submission deadline has passed, contestants still have the opportunity to win the grand prize or prizes awarded in one of three unique genres: short film, music performance, and animation. Contestants have until the end of September to submit videos. Voting starts at the beginning of October with prize announcements at the end of the month. The grand prize winner will be announced in early November.
The Affordable Care Act is making health care more affordable and accessible for 17.8 million uninsured young adults across the country. Because of the law, three million previously uninsured young adults have already gained coverage by joining their parents’ health insurance plan.
Young people can access a variety of online tools now, through HealthCare.gov, and count on in-person help to get answers to their questions to help them enroll October 1. Young people can also use HealthCare.gov to join web chats or call toll free 1-800-318-2596 to get help from a trained customer service representative.
