White House spokesman Jay Carney told reporters today that the actions by Hong Kong officials was setback in Sino-US relations.
“As I just said, as it comes to our relations to Hong Kong and China that we see this as a setback in terms of their efforts to build mutual trust and our concerns are pretty clearly stated.”
No kidding.
