TORNADO SLAMS NORTH TEXAS – Fatalities Reported (Video)

A large tornado slammed into north Texas tonight.
Several casualties were reported.

KTLA reported:

A tornado slammed into Hood County, Texas Wednesday injuring dozens and causing widespread damage.

Kathy Jividen, a spokeswoman for the Hood County, Texas, sheriff’s office said there were “multiple fatalities” in the wake of the storm.

Video from the area showed homes and businesses flattened by the force of the tornado.

Authorities in Granbury reported the hardest hit area was the Rancho Brazos subdivision and adjoining areas along Lake Granbury, according to NBC5 in Dallas Fort Worth.

According to the station, emergency responders were preparing for possible mass casualties in the area.
