SWEET VINDICATION–

On Friday Guy Cecil, executive director of the Democratic Senatorial Campaign Committe, and the DSCC sent out a fundraising letter claiming Tea Party “radicals” were carrying “Nazi symbols” at the IRS rallies this week.

According to the DSCC fundraising letter:

“At one Tea Party rally this week, mobs chanted “Waterboard Obama, Waterboard Hillary!”

At another, radicals waved signs with Nazi symbols.

The meaning is clear. The implication is that the Tea Party supports Nazis. This is a standard smear tactic by the left.

In response to these lies Andrew Marcus and Jim Hoft offered a $3,150 reward to the DSCC to prove their statements.  We also pointed out the signs at the rally in Cincinnati clearly denunciated Nazism and did not endorse Nazism as Guy Cecil clearly suggested.

The  signs were taken completely out of context by the DSCC. (WSJ)

Today the DSCC sent out another email hoping to raise funds off of the Tea Party.

After pressure from this blog the DSCC decided to clean up their language.

We’ll consider this as an apology.

If you have a minute please let Wonkette, Crooks and Liars and LGF know that they need to update their posts with a correction.
Thank you.

UPDATE: Oooh… It appears our friends at Wonkette have become a bit unglued in their defeat.
Folks, we’ve hit pay dirt.
