Rest in Peace, Dear Friend and Patriot – Until We Meet Again

Farewell! God knows when we shall meet again.
~William Shakespeare

Today I will be attending the funeral of a dear friend in Quincy, Illinois.

Last week we lost a true patriot and one of the leaders of the conservative activist movement.   Parker “Chip” Gerdes passed away last Monday.

Chip Gerdes (TookieW on Twitter) and Dana Loesch listen in as Andrew Breitbart discusses liberal media bias in Nashville, Tennessee back in 2009.

Chip worked on campaigns and operated behind the scenes to secure freedom and push forever the conservative cause. His contact list was extensive from local Illinois GOP leaders to Drudge and The Daily Caller. His operations were legendary. He excelled at his work and had a wicked sense of humor.

Chip was especially close to the St. Louis conservative activist community.
