“If he was a criminal then so am I. If all children are criminals then so are their mothers.”

Iranian blogger Sattar Beheshti was arrested on October 30, 2012 by the Iranian cyber police. Sattar died in custody immediately, allegedly from severe torture. His family was informed of his death one week later, on November 6.

Gohar Eshghi, Sattar’s mom, recorded this message in her son’s memory for the Persian New Year in March 2013.

Thanks to Banafsheh Zand for the information.

Note:
At 3:45 and 3:49 the word “riggi” is translated as sand, however “riggi” was being used as a proper name and does not have a true English equivalent.
