Robert Gibbs sat in on the panel today on Meet the Press, the former White House spokesman had this to say about the Hagel confirmation hearing trainwreck:

“The Disconcerting Thing Obviously For Anybody That Watched It Was He Seemed Unimpressive And Unprepared On The Questions That Quite Frankly He Knew Was Coming.”

  1. I think dunce is the word he’s looking for.

  2. Dang. If even Robert ‘Bagdad Bob’ Gibbs can’t spin for you, you were REALLY bad.

  4. re: #4 February 3, 2013 at 3:06 pm

and if you needed an /s/

you are part of the problem.

  5. The biggest understatement since General Custer’s scout said, “Don’t worry… they’re friendly.”

  6. Rubio wasn’t impressed with Hagel either and will not vote for his installment.

  7. ‘Wondering if the story will break wide open about Jesse Jackson, Billy Clinton and Obama wanting to take the 18 trillion of the peeps 401k money. It’s out there but not widely read.

  8. #8: Link?

  9. I see a bus coming. Hagel better hide.

  10. SO WHY…hasn’t Hagel withdrawn his name ?

Does Hegel need somebody to pass him a note to read that states ” I withdraw my name from consideration ” ? Is he really that Dense of a yes man ..?

  11. Yes, #8, link please?

  12. He Seemed “Unimpressive and Unprepared” …sounds like the lunatic-left wants hagel to run for president in 2016 on their ticket – he fits the mold.

  13. Pot calling kettle…

  14. Well, roll of the dice these days in an administration that seems to be so naive and uninformed or whatever. They lack experience and they seem to be living in a whole different world.

Our priorities are set in stone thanks to Obama. Save, Save, Budget and pray that our National Security is up to the job and that Obama’s game of reducing Defense will work out because if not the guy will be on thin ice. And then maybe, impeached.

  15. Ingraham is right. He bears a striking resemblance to the Family Guy.

North Koreans among 40 dead at Iran nuke plant

[The explosions at Iran’s Fordow nuclear facility Jan. 21 killed
at least 40 people, including two North Koreans, WND learned
    Sunday.

    [..]

The bodies of 11 of the technicians and scientists are beyond recognition,
a member of the security forces at the facility told WND. According to this
source, 60 others are in critical condition and have been transferred to the
central base of the 27th Division of Mohammad Rassool Allah, which is
equipped with a modern medical facility and is between Tehran and Qom.

At the time of the explosions, the source said, 203 Iranian scientists
and technicians along with 16 North Koreans had been logged in at
the site, though the initial report listed 240 people.

The day before the explosions, the North Koreans had brought in new
equipment, described by the source as touch-screen monitors the size
of TVs that were installed in the monitoring room and some new parts
that were installed in the centrifuges before the start of the enrichment
    process.]

Hagel says he will focus on prepping
military for ‘all options’ against Iran

[Former Sen. Chuck Hagel (R-Neb.) says he will focus on making sure
the U.S. military is prepared for any scenario in Iran and is committed
to “all options” to counter aggression from Tehran.

Hagel also said he agrees with President Obama’s plans for “steady”
reductions of U.S. troops in Afghanistan, supports U.S. aid for missile
systems in Israel and thinks sequester would be “devastating,”
according to wide-ranging policy answers the nominee for Defense
secretary submitted to the Senate Armed Services Committee.]

  18. The people Obama is selecting aren’t being selected for their qualifications. They’re being selected based on their willingness to serve their master dutifully and without asking questions. Period. And just as we saw in his last administration, most of them will be people who were instrumental in getting him elected. It’s an Obama world for the next four years, and all we can do is pray that we don’t get attacked while these people are running the show …
