Republican Rep. Peter King Goes Off – Halt Donations to GOP! (Video)

Rep. Peter King (R-NY) went off on the Republican Party this morning for not passing legislation last night to help the victims of Hurricane Sandy.

After the fiscal cliff vote late last night the House was adjourned before a vote was taken on Hurricane Sandy relief – a bill that is loaded with millions of dollars for unrelated pork projects.

Rep. King told New Yorkers to cut off donations to Republicans.
Via America’s Newsroom:

Here’s King’s rant:

“They’re in New York all the time filling their pockets with money from New Yorkers. I’m saying right now, anyone from New York and New Jersey who contributes one penny to Congressional Republicans is out of their mind. Because what they did last night was put a knife in the back of New Yorkers and New Jerseyians. It was an absolute disgrace… And why Republicans have this bias against New York, this bias against New Jersey, this bias against the Northeast. They’re wondering why they’re becoming a minority party? Why they’re going to be a party of the permanent minority? What they did last night was so immoral, so disgraceful, so irresponsible. They’re supposed to be the party of family values? Yet families are starving, are suffering… I’ve had it. As far as I am concerned I’m on my own. They’re going to go a long way to get my vote on anything.

With Republicans like Peter King, who needs Democrats?

While King’s rage is large part parochial and political, his point is correct. The GOP is screaming toward minority status and probable oblivion. I’m disgusted, and am not giving them another dime. The only hope is an internal revolution.

Why is it that Katrina was all Bush’s fault and now this is all the republicans in congress fault? AAAAAARG!!!!!!

Peter King has done a good job of showing me why I should no longer vote or donate GOP.

F!!ck New York,New Jersey and the whole NE.

  • Tiger Eyes

Who in their Right Mind (Pun Intended) would give money to the GOP only to watch them ignore our outrage and continue to give us the finger while enabling the theft of the American People?
How many Americans are out of work, Mr. King? How many Americans are only able to get part time work, Mr. King. How many are on Unemployment Benefits, Mr. King? Do you really think any of them have money to give to the “Cowards” at the GOP?
I hope any donation made will go toward removing all Current Republicans from office and replacing them with dead serious conservatives!

King is Weiner with his pants on but hands out. Hey if tax dollars can be had for the sucks in NY it’s perfectly Ok but screw everyone else.

  • Ray

King is buddies with leaders of the Irish Republican Party. Enough said.

Why is the Federal Government responsible for damage in a State? Why do I in Texas have to pay for this? Why doesn’t the Federal Government leave the money in the States and with the people so they can pay for it themselves? Peter King may be good on National Security but he is really very liberal. I don’t trust him.

No, No, these folks have to buy insurance and make a claim. there is no reliance on a public progam for these folks who are viewed as rich by the rest of the country. Buy insurance. You might have to give up you new car for a long time. but I bet if there are a whole group of you, a whole community, then you might get a better deal.
many of us pay thousands for insurance every year. We can’t have the new SUV. We drive 9 yr old car.But we are covered, we get coverage that gives us living quarters.
But How is that Hug and Hope working for Krispy Kreme Chrtistie

Where is the anger at the Dems who larded up the bill with things that have nothing to do with helping people who suffered damage/loss due to the hurricane? It’s just like this fiscal cliff debacle giving Hollywood more tax breaks, tax deals for NASCAR and wind energy. Maybe bills should only contain things that relate to the topic at hand?

Where is the anger at the Dems who larded up the bill with things that have nothing to do with helping people who suffered damage/loss due to the hurricane?

That would only come about if the media does its job, but since the media is nothing more than the propaganda arm of the Democrat Party, well,…

  • BlueStateRepub

I can understand the corrupt, treasonous, Fifth Columnists in the MSM refusing to acknowledge that the bill was porked up with stuff like free crap for Alaskan fisheries (which has nothing to do with Hurricane Sandy) but a sitting Congresscreep?

What a complete disaster. We all know this is delighting Obama. He loves to create Chaos. Sal Alinsky would be so proud.

Peter King is further proof of term limits.

Post 17 should be required reading for any “Republican” who contemplates ,surrender ,working with Dems.

Rep. King is under the mistaken impression I was planning to give money to the GOP in the first place.

  • The Central Scrutinizer

To me giving money to the people of New York and New Jersey is like giving aid and comfort to the enemy. Don’t build in the flood plain morons.

  • Mad Hatter

Doesn’t Peter King understand that this bill is probably full of some much pork, it would make the so called Stimulus Package look like a pocket full of money.

  • Mad Hatter

    so much pork*
