Senator Rand Paul delivered this speech after the US Senate “stuck it to the rich people” last night:
“Mark my word, you’ll raise tax rates and you feel good because you went out there and you got those rich people. You said you were. You campaigned against rich people. And you got enough envy whipped up in the country. And you’re going to stick it to those rich people. But guess what? You may not get any more revenue. You may not get anymore economic growth. But you can say, “I stuck it to the rich people.”"
Rand Paul was on with Wolf Blitzer last night after his floor speech:

Not only that, the rich may just pack up and leave.

Thank God there are a few conservative leaders like Rand. They will talk truth regardless of the political correctness and MSM trying to make them look like fools. I am so sick of wimpy repubs who are scared to stand up for their so-called beliefs. At least dems stand up for their beliefs and protect their own–regardless. Too bad their beliefs are based on lies and deceit.

One of the few legislooters who seems to have a clue.

I find it exceedingly odd that so many of Obama’s supporters qualify as “rich people” themselves – starting with Hollywood. They must have very good tax accountants and lawyers who have been very busy squirreling their $$$ away overseas.
Sam Stone commented:
“the rich” “millionaires and billionaires” $200,000 now makes you “the rich” or one of the “millionaires and billionaires”.
In Martyland, they defined “the rich” and “millionaires and billionaires” as those making $100,000.
How can I not thank these Progressives for slowly but surely making me closer to being “the rich” or in the “millionaires and billionaires”? Why in the world would I want to fight them for helping me make it with the American dream?
In a few more years, with the help of the Progressives, my family will be far more ahead in the race to the top.

Welcome to France part Deux. The Hollywood people are not going anywhere. They’re all talk. Whenever one of them said they’d leave when Bush won, they stayed here. Can you see any of these goons insulting China they way they get away with insulting this country?
Nah, didn’t think so!
Hypocrites and poseurs all!

#7 Granny If you are truly rich(not Obama rich) with multiple millions and can afford to hire a good CPA, it is fairly easy to shelter income and stay away from taxes. This is thanks to a tax system that isn’t fair and can be easily manipulated which is what pols want.
Look-Out commented:
He’s pointed out this bill not only does NOT SERIOUSLY CUT SPENDING, BUT ADDS NEW SPENDING.
Thank you, Rand Paul…about the only one who explains the insanity.
And thanks, too, to Marco Rubio who voted “no”. There are 6 others, I guess, who need to be thanked too.
