Obama Celebrates 40 Years of Roe v. Wade – Releases Statement

In 2008 abortion survivor Gianna Jessen joined Born Alive Truth in a campaign to shine light on Barack Obama’s horrific record in support of infanticide. Gianna, who had survived as a baby after being aborted, pointed out that–
Obama voted 4 times in support of infanticide:

In his first year as president, Barack Obama signed several pieces of abortion legislation including funding foreign abortions. He also signed legislation to use taxpayer money to kill embryos in research. And, democrats passed legislation that will force healthcare providers to perform abortions even if it violates their moral or religious convictions.

Barack Obama is the most radical pro-abortion and infanticide president in the last 35 years. He’s so radical the Vatican even attacked him for using taxpayer money to fund foreign abortions after he lied to the Pope about his plans.

Barack Obama released this statement today on the 40th Annversary of Roe v. Wade.

“On the 40th anniversary of Roe v. Wade, we reaffirm its historic commitment to protect the health and reproductive freedom of women across this country and stand by its guiding principle: that government should not intrude on our most private family matters, and women should be able to make their own choices about their bodies and their health care. Today and every day, my Administration continues our efforts to reduce unintended pregnancies, support maternal and child health, and minimize the need for abortion. On this anniversary, we recommit ourselves to supporting women and families in the choices they make and redouble our efforts to promote safe and healthy communities.”

What nonsense. Meanwhile the Catholic Church is suing the Obama Administration for intruding on its religious values.

What’s the big deal? Coulter and Hannity think we need to be flexible in this position and not scare away those wise and prudent moderates. The moderates probably agree with the president’s position on this matter, since they consider him the wisest of the wise. It’s important that the Republicans not stand for anything that puts them in a less-than-ideal enlightened framework. Now let’s get on with amnesty, expense control, and gun control – things we will cave in on ….eventually. Well done Bill Crystal et al. Sarcasm off.

that government should not intrude on our most private family matters,

Really, Obama, so hypocritical but when standing at the Gates of Heaven, God will be your judge.

How many abortions altogether have there been since the Roe v. Wade decision? Given that there are disagreements over numbers and that there are abortionists who do not report, a precise figure is hard to come by. Nevertheless, we can use the numbers we do have to arrive at some pretty close estimates of the total number of children lost to abortion since 1973.

NRLC typically uses the numbers reported by the Alan Guttmacher Institute (AGI) to compute its totals. Unlike the Centers for Disease Control (CDC), AGI surveys abortionists directly rather than passively accepting what is sent to it. Therefore AGI’s totals are both higher and more accurate.

Even that figure is incomplete. As AGI itself admits, it is not able to tally all abortions. If one factors in the additional 3% of abortions AGI says may be missed due to underreporting, the total figure since 1973 rises to 39,290,477.

Of course these totals are inaccurate.

It’s just academic, but let me ask: You think Barack’s mother, Stanley Ann Dunham, would have aborted Obama if Roe v. Wade had been decided in 1960?

Considering what a great mother she was, I think we know the answer. And so should Barack.

The number of abortions shown in the chart above are the actual numbers that were submitted (except the last three years). No attempt has been made by the collection agencies to adjust for the “unreported” abortions. How many abortions go unreported? No one really knows, but there are some who say that at least 15% of the abortions go unreported. However, for this report, I am going to use the very conservative number of 4%.

Oh? Charlie Brown’s teacher is the Preezy o’the United Steezy?

Seriously, it would’ve been more acurate had he said that government would not “intrude ” on government approved “private family matters.”

    Illinois State Senate

In 2001, Illinois Senators introduced legislation to care for children who survived a practice known as “induced abortions,” where a surviving baby is left unattended after labor is induced. State Senator Obama opposed this legislation, stating that by defining a “pre-viable” fetus as a person, the legislation was defining rights to that person. He then stated that by extending those protections to a fetus less than 9 months old, the practice would outlaw abortion.

Our Father God forms us in the womb, knits us together in His own image, Christ Jesus tells us not to stop the little children from coming to Him… blessed is the Nation whose Lord is God. BUT America has chosen another path, one of supreme mankind knowledge and made laws according to this ‘enlightenment’. How can we say “God bless America” when we purposefully choose to not only disobey Him, but to act in direct contradiction to His Word? May God forgive America.

Via John McCormack, whose post you should read as a refresher on how dismal The One’s abortion record is. In fact, it’s so dismal that I think it undercuts the power of the clip he found. Show of hands: Who didn’t already assume before watching this that Obama supports “choice” in virtually every conceivable situation, including when a baby emerges alive after a botched abortion? I realize, per McCormack, that O endorsed banning late-term abortions in 2008, but he said a lot of things he doesn’t really believe to get elected four years ago. Where is he on this now? If he’s willing to “evolve” on gay marriage, by which I mean openly advocate what he’s secretly believed for decades, he should feel safe enough in his lame-duck term to make the case for Week 39 abortions, no? He’s already got Sandra Fluke writing campaign e-mails for him, as I learned around an hour ago; imagine how impressed feminists would be if he finally exploded the facade that the Democratic Party is meaningfully opposed to abortion in any circumstance.

    Read on.

Obama continues to get away with one outrageous lie after another because of the fawning cover provided by the main stream media. We need to adopt a two step program if we are going to save this Republic. We can’t change the fact that Obama is our President but we can act decisively against the traitorous media that is aiding and abetting him in his destructive programs and deceptions. Two things that may help are, first, if every citizen who can see what is happening would share that insight with a friend or family member and, second, begin a nationwide boycott of the advertisers who support those media outlets.
I don’t like boycotts but these are desperate times and other effective steps would be even more desperate. Take away the cover being given Obama by the media and he will be exposed as for what he is.

Beyond creepy: Obama uses daughters to push abortion

On July 24 President Barack Obama used his daughters as props to promote abortion, stating at an Oregon fundraiser (video here):

Mr. Romney wants to get rid of funding for Planned Parenthood. I think that’s a bad idea. I’ve got two daughters. I want them to control their own health care choices. We’re not going backwards, we’re going forwards.

We all know the word “choice” is a euphemism for “abortion.” And the fight to defund Planned Parenthood is all about abortion. So clear as mud, Obama was advocating the freedom for his daughters to abort his own grandchildren. I’m not the only one who took his statement that way. Wrote CP Politics:

President Barack Obama drew a sharp line between himself and GOP opponent Mitt Romney on federally funded abortion rights Tuesday, arguing that federal funding of Planned Parenthood is necessary to preserve his daughters’ right to chose.

This is at least the second time Obama has used his daughters to promote sex without consequences, which is creepy in itself, particularly given the fact they are only 14 and 11.

But the first time was when they were even younger – way younger. From the 2008 wayback machine, on a day Obama was promoting comprehensive sex ed:[……………………]
