Barack Obama on Geithner: “One of the Finest Secretaries of the Treasury” in History (Video)

In a White House press conference today Barack Obama said with Timothy Geithner they had begun to bring down the deficit. Obama also said Geithner was one of our finest secretaries of the treasury in US history.

“And we’ve begun to reduce our deficit through a balanced mix of spending cuts and reforms to a tax code that at the time we both came in was too skewed in favor of the wealthy at the expense of middle class Americans. So when the history books are written Tim Geithner is is going to go down as one of our finest secretaries of the treasury.”

Malarkey.

For the record… The latest fiscal cliff deal passed last week will add another $4 trillion to the deficit. Obama and Geithner also set an international record for running four straight years of trillion dollar deficits.

Geithner presided over four years of trillion dollar deficits and added $5.8 trillion to the debt.
It’s the worst record ever, so it only makes sense that Obama thinks he’s a star.

Here’s another memorable Geithner moment. In April 2011 Geither said there was “no way” the US would lose its top credit rating.

The economy was downgraded four months later in August 2011.

Really? What the hell is this @$$whipe smoking? This is our President? The leader of our military? Please, God, help.

This from a man who has surrounded himself with tax cheats, embezzlers, anarchist, socialist, law breakers, and union thugs. Yea right! POS comes nowhere close to this mans credentials.

This is Turbo Timmy in response to Paul Ryan:

Pressed on this point, Geithner admits the future looks dim and that he has no plan to fix it:

Treasury Secretary Tim Geithner: We have millions of Americans retiring everyday and that will drive substantial growth rates for healthcare costs. And so you were right to say…We’re not coming before you to say we have a definitive solution to our long-term problem. What we do know is that we don’t like yours. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=h_f20ZDBj5k

Timmy was the President of the Federal Reserve Bank of New York when the Wall Street Banks were burying themselves in derivatives. His job was to REGULATE these banks. He then orchestrated those very banks during the bailout! Unbelievable!

But, more regulation is definitely the solution, right?

Well he may not be remembered as one of the greatest, but he will probably be one of the ones most remembered. Not in a good way either.

BTW, the evil and corrupt MSM has still not reported on the Texas Independence Rally this week! I know this must have been a huge event here in Texas, but I think they want to keep it quiet!

Jim, please follow up on this important event! You must have contacts with the Patriots! I know all of the Gateway followers are anxious to know what happened! Was Ted Cruz there? Was Rick Perry there? How many showed up? Maybe it was rained out?

Have we set a date for the Show-Me State Rally?

Anxiously awaiting a follow-up! Maybe Maddie know something!

I believe there have been more than a few Treasury Secretarys who are head and shoulders above Geithner.

And they dutifully paid all their owed income taxes, which Geitner still hasn’t done.

Jugears says these crazy things (Timmy is one of the finest yada, yada, yada) because he knows his trolls, those who rely on him for phones, strip joints, etc. will believe anything he says. They hear him talk on their 80 inch TVs and think anything he says is true. They don’t even question it. Anyone who pays attention to the fake president now expects to hear lies. It’s all we’ve ever heard.

Thanx #8….I’m curious about Austin as well. Good riddance to Turbo Tax Tim. His choice as Sec. treas. and job performance were both incredibly inept.

They both know they are pushing the bullcrap, whilst standing there looking like a couple of lying tools to the intelligent masses. Their followers are all a bunch of morons who can’t look at facts and see what they mean. They are a couple of smug you-know-what.

  • BurmaShave

For losing our nation’s highest credit rating Geithner must be one of our WORST Secretaries of the Treasury. This cannot be disputed.

Geithner: “No risk at all we get downgraded”.

Who thought at the time that House Reps would play chicken with a bridge abutment. Yes, they veered away at the last moment, but not soon enough to avoid damaging the entire passenger side of the economy. What’s worse, they seem to be positioning themselves for another go at it.

Just like Bubba Clinton being named father of the year-It’s comical.

What next? Mao, Stalin and Hitler given posthumous humanitarian awards.

Turbo Timmy can spin of into oblivion. No one will miss him. He never should have been confirmed after his willful evasion of taxes. Just another banker stooge who got aot away with God knows what.
