The Palestinian leadership celebrated Christmas this year by claiming that Jesus was a great Palestinian.

Palestinian Media Watch reported:

The Palestinian leadership’s falsification of history by presenting Jesus as an ancient Palestinian increased in regularity as Christmas approached this year. In the last month alone, the PA media has transmitted six additional PA misrepresentations of Jesus as a Palestinian, including:

The Governor of Ramallah: “We all have the right to be proud that Jesus is a Palestinian”
PA historian: “In the final analysis, Jesus the Messiah is a Palestinian
The PA Mufti: “Jesus is a Palestinian par excellence

…There is an attempt to connect Jesus to the Palestinian leaders themselves. Senior PA leader Jibril Rajoub said: “The greatest Palestinian in history since Jesus is Yasser Arafat,” and an editorial in the PA official daily referred to Arafat, Jesus and Abbas as the Palestinian “holy Trinity”:

Jesus is a Palestinian; the self-sacrificing Yasser Arafat is a Palestinian; Mahmoud Abbas, the messenger of peace on earth, is a Palestinian. How great is this nation of the holy Trinity!”

  1. 60 minutes ran a piece on the Vatican coin collection and said they even have coins from Palestine 2000 years ago like the ones given to judas. Palestine. 2000 years ago.

  2. John 8:19

“Then they asked him, “Where is your father?” “You do not know me or my Father,” Jesus replied. “If you knew me, you would know my Father also.”

  5. I do not know the map lines at day 1 year 0. I don’t know what country or tribe Bethlehem belonged to for that matter. But Jesus did not and could not follow the laws of the Koran as that figment of imagination would not be written for another 500 years. Jesus of the Bible held himself to be a Jew, and the Bible gives to lineage lines proving such.

Now my mother was born in Germany, and her father had been a Nazi in Germany. But I am neither German nor Nazi, and neither was my mother. She was American as I am today. A place of birth means little. Your heart’s place means a great deal.

  6. The early Palestinians were GREEK…not Arab. Archeologist have determined that the early Palestinians were really Greek.

    Jesus was a Jew…not Greek…lol

There is also NO “P” sound in Arabic…lol…so how can you be a Palestine when you can even pronounce it?

  7. Oh, one more thing. Jesus died a torturous and humiliating public death by Rome. If He is God He could have destroyed all whom opposed Him, but He went to His death as a lamb betrayed by those He loved. Yassar on the other hand lived a life of debauchery and died because of that life. Yassar killed as he wished, and he wished even more to die. I see no similarity between the two.

  8. “Palestine” is the Latin name for the Philistines, the longtime enemy of the Jews, which the Romans gave to the region in order to anger and insult the indigenous Jews. The historic name for the area is Judea. Jesus was a righteous and observant Jew. His disciples addressed him as Rabbi. The continued use of “Palestine” and “Palestinian” angers and insults the Jews (including this one) to this day.

The “Palestinians” of today have been busy rewriting history. Their lies and fraudulent history are accepted as word by anti-Semites and Israel-haters (same thing) around the world.

  9. I don’t know what happens to one after death, but it is my hope that the truth in simple glory be revealed.

  10. Yasser Arafat, related to the Mufti of Jerusalem, Mohammad Amin al-Husseini, the Islamo-Nazi and friend of Hitler, was trained for the task by the Soviet KGB: http://www.weizmann.ac.il/home/comartin/israel/pacepa-wsj.html. The idea of “Palestinians” would never had occurred if it had it not been this confluence of Arafat and the KGB.

  11. Actually there is some legitimacy to this claim. Jews were frequently called Palestinians and furthermore, there is substantial evidence that Palestinians were forced to convert to Islam. That Jesus may have been a Jew and a Palestinian is like pointing out that Abraham Lincoln was both an American citizen and a man of Illinois.

  12. No, Multitude @#17 – There is no legitimacy to the claim at all. Upon their conquest of JUDEA, the indigenous JEWISH homeland, the Romans renamed the area “Palestine” – full Latin name for their conquest of the Levant, “Syria Palaestina” – to insult and anger the conquered Jews. They also gave Latin names to significant Jewish locations, such as “Aelia Capitolina”, which covered the ruins of the destroyed Second Temple.

  13. Let me guess, he was also a muslim?
