They were cheering in the streets of Pyongyang today after the regime shot a satellite into orbit.
Then it started spinning out of control.

NBC News reported:
The object that North Korea sent into space on Wednesday appears to be “tumbling out of control” as it orbits the earth, U.S. officials told NBC News.
The officials said that it is indeed some kind of space vehicle, but they still haven’t been able to determine exactly what the satellite is supposed to do.
In a statement, the White House said the rocket launch was a highly provocative act that threatens regional security and violates U.N. resolutions.
The United Nations Security Council on Wednesday condemned the launch, calling it a “clear violation” of U.N. resolutions. A spokesman for U.N. Secretary-General Ban Ki-moon said he “deplores” the launch.

Hopefully it will land in Pyongyang, North Korea right on top of the Pueblo.

Donh (#4), the Vatican just issued a statement saying that despite the Mayan calendar, they do not think we are in the last days. My guess is that this is also not an indication of the End of Times.

#7 .. If belief in the End of Days has reached such a global fever, the Vatican must issue a big public denial…we really are that close to the END…..Having a last Pope be a great deceiver is part of the Tribulation period prophesy.

Somebody, somewhere, knows how many times the Vatican has issued a statement saying that we are not in the last days. And if the prophecies in the Bible are correct, they’ll do it again, when the last days are actually here.
BFD. This is our watch, our time, our responsibility. And each of us will see our last days, eventually, as has every last human being before us. God bless the people of good will, who do their best with what they have.

If the Vatican issued a statement that we are NOT in the ‘end times’ period – then they are seriously deceived or seriously deceiving.

Only the Lord knows when that time will come… Nobody will be expecting it!!!

This satellite is newer version of earlier ones. It has two rubber bands instead of just one big one. Someone probably lost count when they were winding it. They’re spinning out of sync. Either that or some of the paper clips shook loose.
Go figure.

And they were apparently right, each and every time. Why doubt them now?

I suggest we don’t laugh too long or loudly.
NorK’s space program is actually an ICBM or LRBM program. The processes for getting a satellite into space are very similar to getting a warhead into space. Once they have that it’s only a matter of perfecting the re-entry phase using dummy warheads.
FMB42 commented:
This satellite appears to be in a real jam.
Oh well, N.K. might as well cover these things with butter before they launch them…
