On Trayvon Martin’s Shooting Death
On February 26, 2012, neighborhood watchman George Zimmerman shot Trayvon Martin dead. The next day he passed a lie detector test. Despite this, the judge on the case jailed and then re-jailed George Zimmerman.
Autopsy results after the shooting revealed that Trayvon Martin had only two injuries on his body – a fatal gunshot wound and bloody knuckles.
George Zimmerman had a fractured nose, two black eyes and cuts on the back of his head following the incident.
Zimmerman faces charges of second-degree murder. He has maintained he is not guilty and that shooting Martin was self-defense.
A new photo was released of George Zimmerman the night of Trayvon Martin’s shooting death.
