GOP Sen. Lindsey Graham on Fiscal Cliff: ‘Hats Off To The President, He Won’ (Video)

Senator Lindsey Graham (R-SC) was eager to congratulate President Obama on the fiscal cliff talks today on FOX News Sunday.
“Hats off to the president. He won.”

Republican Senator Lindsay Graham appeared on Fox News Sunday and said he believes the chances for a fiscal cliff deal before the December 31st deadline were “exceedingly good.”

“I think people don’t want to go over the cliff if we can avoid it,” Graham told host Chris Wallace.

He also expressed his belief that the deal would likely be more acceptable to Democrats in Congress than Republicans. “It will be a political victory for the president.”

GOP Sen. Lindsey Graham on Fiscal Cliff: ‘Hats Off To The President, He Won’ (Video)

Says the ambiguous Pink Panty Republican. America loses when Obama wins. Another point – you dolts placed America in this position last tear when you didn’t shut the government down.

Here’s a message to you in the GOP from lil ole me – I just want to be left the FUNK alone. Stay away from my firearms and my wallet.

I’m not complying with any laws signed after January 2009. So, go Funk yourselves.

Yet another demonstration that the Republican Party is the STUPID party, while the Democrat Party is the EVIL party – both SCREW the USA.

  • Conservative Ken

Jeebus, why doesn’t Graham just switch parties? Go away little rino.

  • The Underground Conservative

Pink Panty Republican … hahahahahahaha. Well played!

Lindsey Grahamnesty has been part of this GOP Appeasement Brigade that believes that since the Boy King won in 2008, he should be able to get anything he wants.

Say hello to the republican elite nominee for President in 2016 – Lynsdey Graham.

The GOP Establishment™ is already pushing Jeb Bush for 2016. More FAIL. After pushing a candidate that didn’t want to run in 2012 and having his backers destroy one who wanted to run and likely would have won … they double down on stupid. You know they will either be running against Obama again in defiance of the 22nd Amendment or Eric Holder as his stalking horse.

  • Swifty

No new taxes, no new spending, no new regulations, balanced budget.

having his backers destroy one who wanted to run and likely would have won

Which one would that have been?

  • shadow

No new taxes, no new spending, no new regulations, balanced budget.

Sounds like a great platform. Perhaps you should throw your hat in the ring for 2016.

I am so tired of these linguini-spined RINOs. According to this report, there may be hope yet as the TEAParty favorites have been holding firm even after being forced off committees. That they’ll be victorius. We’ll have to wait and see.

I can tell you all this and I hope you will join me – I will never vote for a GOP “designate” Candidate again.

I have never missed an election since I was eighteen. I have voted in every local, state, senate, congressional and presidential election. I have all of the stubs to prove it. I reluctantly voted for Dole, McCain and Romney, as did most of you.

Those days are over. If there is not a Conservative – bonafide Conservative – I’m not voting. I know there are those that will say I am playing into the Communists hands – I say screw that. I’m done holding my nose for the likes of Boehner, Cantor, and the GOP Elite who have sold out any and all principles for expediency. If the country is done and finished – let them own it.

Conservatism worked every-time it was tried.

OK. I was going to train for the Olympics. But this seems like a bigger challenge that is more worthy of my attention. I’m in. lol

Senator Graham, I live in your district in SC. You will not get my vote again. I will make it a personal mission to make sure my friends, family … you name it … do not cast – excuse me – waste their votes on you! Thank you.

Forewarned is forearmed as they say. The RINOs want to push another Bush? Well, there are more of us than them. Now is the time to start working against the establishment so we can have a constitutional conservative as our nominee. It will start at the grassroots (TEAParty). Do not send anyone who is not conservative (this includes the RNC) any money, ever. It seems daunting, but with hard work and perserverance, we can do it.

  • Isn’t Lindsey a girls name? Oh, right.

  • RINOtastic! Treasonous SOB. Probably happy as a clam to say that.

Actually, not a bad move. By congratulating that guy, he clearly laid the blame at his feet. What do you think? Of course, the media spin will not go with that line…

Thank god for the Tea Party house members and also in the Senate. Let’s see how the communist/marxist/fascist folks deal with no more money coming in. Remember the USSR and how the USA made their fall, I think that is what you have to to. Keep the purse away from the folks who want to rape and pillar our country to death.

  • shadow

Actually, not a bad move. By congratulating that guy, he clearly laid the blame at his feet.

Yeah, I sensed a little “politicking” in his statement, as well.

  • Blacque Jacques Shellacque

He also expressed his belief that the deal would likely be more acceptable to Democrats in Congress than Republicans. “It will be a political victory for the president.”

Of course it will, because the Republican Party “leadership” is gutless.

Until the Republicans decide to grow a spine, this kind of an outcome materializing at the end of every single political dispute is inescapable.

  • shadow

It seems daunting, but with hard work and perserverance, we can do it.

I guess that depends on what “it” is. If by “it” you mean fracture the party to the point where it is impossible to win in the general election, I agree. It is well within your grasp.

Lindsey “Jackass” Graham was previously attacking the 1st amendment. Now he is attacking our financial health. A real winner. The sweet, petite little Ann Barnhardt did a lovely video answering Lindsey “Jackass” Graham when he wanted us to give up free speech to please the Muslims.

If you haven’t heard it, it’s worth a listen if for nothing more than to understand this idiot Graham.

Such a weirdo. He needs to be put out to pasture with the other RINOS.

  • Blacque Jacques Shellacque

If by “it” you mean fracture the party to the point where it is impossible to win in the general election,…

Please. With two consecutive losing campaigns under their belt, the Republican Party is already in that state, and the machinations of the phonies and squishes in its midst are responsible for much of it.

And if the party apparatus proves they’ve failed to learn from their mistakes and they push Jeb Bush for 2016, they can expect a third loss.

    Address this Washington:

SHOCK: New York Corner Stores Appear to be Facilitating Rampant Abuse of EBT Welfare Benefits

    But there’s nothing to cut!

Most people run to the corner bodega for a gallon of milk or a loaf of bread, but some welfare recipients are plunking down $500 at a time in suspicious transactions… Welfare users are only allowed to use their Electronic Benefit Transfer cards to buy food, yet they are rung up like fat cats in tiny stores in The Bronx and Brooklyn where the priciest item is usually an $8 pound of ham.

Earlier this year, an owner and a cashier at Glenwood Food Corp. in Canarsie, Brooklyn, were arrested for ringing up bogus transactions… A federal sting found the bodega was recording phony purchases on EBT cards, handing customers about 70 percent of the amount in cash — and pocketing the rest. Goods were rarely exchanged in the scam, which defrauded taxpayers out of $985,000 in two years…

    http://1.bp.blogspot.com/-vKEKQV2vhcM/UOCqLzuTXwI/AAAAAAABEGA/NCob6iVZyuI/s1600/121230-bodega.jpg VIEW

Sheridan Mini Mart in Morrisania, The Bronx, rang up single sales of $543.40 and $473.50 on June 4, 2012, alone. That’s a lot of bread for a store where the most expensive item is an $11.99 jug of cooking oil… At Tremont’s Palenque Supermarket Corp., ETB where the priciest product is an $18.99 gallon of olive oil, transactions reached as high as $400 last year… Desi Grocery, a tiny East New York store now known as Anchor Grocery, racked up a $585 sale and several $400 sales through June 2012…

Robert Rector of The Heritage Foundation called the USDA’s anti-fraud procedures “a joke… “There’s virtually no oversight or effort from the USDA to stop this at all,” Rector said. “A store gets disqualified from the program and miraculously it’s back in business in the next two weeks with a new name on the front door.”

How many hundreds of billions of dollars in our money are “redistributed” through fraudulent Medicare, Medicaid, Social Security, and food stamp transactions?

The answer, my friend, is blowing in the wind. The answer is blowing in the wind.

Oh Great – US Will Continue To Pay One Fifth Of UN Budget

Oh Great – US Will Continue To Pay One Fifth Of UN Budget
    December 28, 2012
    By Lonely Conservative

The United Nations has almost 200 member nations, yet the United States pays more than one fifth of the group’s budget. This, even though the UN constantly works to undermine the US. Good grief.

Worse yet, our UN representative is quite pleased that we will continue to shoulder this burden for another three years.

In one of its last actions of the year, the United Nations General Assembly on Christmas Eve agreed to extend for another three years the formula that has U.S. taxpayers contributing more than one-fifth of the world body’s regular budget.

No member-state called for a recorded vote, and the resolution confirming the contributions that each country will make for the 2013-2015 period was summarily adopted. The assembly also approved a two-year U.N. budget of $5.4 billion.

The U.S. has accounted for 22 percent of the total regular budget every year since 2000, and will now continue to do so for the next three years.

The U.S. representative for U.N. management and reform, Joseph Torsella, expressed satisfaction that the U.S. contribution had not been raised above that level. (Read More)

A pox on all of them in Washington, Starting with the President and leadership of both House and Senate. . They have broken THEIR OATH of Office and were derelict in their duty to manage this BEFORE the last minute. .

They should all be impeached/recalled and fired.

This is not what leadership is about nor what governing is about. .

WE the PEOPLE elect them to do a job. . and they’ve FAILED!

Time for a new Crew to come in and act like adults & AMERICANS!

they push Jeb Bush for 2016, they can expect a third loss.

I truly believe if Jeb would have been the candidate, instead of Romney, we would have had our 3rd President Bush.

Too many things can happen between now and 2016 to make any accurate predictions, save to say, Republicans won’t win the WH with someone who scares the middle-of-the-road voters … your Akins, your Mourdocks, and yes, your Bachmanns and Wests.

    Where are the spending CUTS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

    AHOLE

  • Blacque Jacques Shellacque

I truly believe if Jeb would have been the candidate, instead of Romney, we would have had our 3rd President Bush.

Two Bush squishes are enough. Had he been the candidate instead of Romney, he’d have lost as well.

Republicans won’t win the WH with someone who scares the middle-of-the-road voters …

Republicans certainly won’t win if they keep on pushing their unprincipled “moderates” in yet another futile effort to win over those fickle middle-of-the-road voters.

The next four years are going to be interesting, as I suspect those same middle-of-the-roaders are going to come to regret the choice they made last November, and I hope they get their faces rubbed in it every day.

    Lindsey Graham.

The face of the new Republican party.
We’ve wasted decades trying to take this party back.
    Time for a new party.

  • Gary

    BJS

Republicans don’t want to win. They’re more comfortable being the losing party.
Rush has been saying it for years. They want to be liked and reported on kindly in the media.
We’re the dummkopfs who get stuck pinning our hopes on one moderate after another.
It won’t change with the Republican party.
Guarantee we’ll be sitting here in 2016 moaning about our crop of candidates.

We’d better find a way to get a viable third party up and running.
I know it’s quite an uphill battle, but if we don’t do it, then we have no hope of having our views represented in govt, no matter who we vote for.

We either get a Dem, a moderate Republican, or on the off chance that our district runs an actual conservative candidate, a representative who is sidelined by the Republican party at every term.

Are we not tired of this yet?
