Ahmadinejad Congratulates Morsi on Successful Election of Sharia Constitution

Iranian Regime President Mahmoud Ahmadinijad called up Egyptian President Mohamed Morsi to congratulate him on the successful election of his Islamic constitution.
The Islamic Republic News Agency reported:

Iranian president Mahmoud Ahmadinejad in a telephone conversation with his Egyptian counterpart Mohamed Morsi on Tuesday congratulated him and the Egyptian people on the successful holding of a referendum on the country’s new constitution.

Ahmadinejad said, “I’m sure that the Egyptian nation, in the new era, will rapidly move toward peaks of honor and development.”

He added, the two friendly and brotherly nations of Iran and Egypt will stand by each other on the path of honor and development and the Iranian nation will spare no effort to support the Egyptian nation and government.

The Egyptian president, for his part, said, the two countries can attain development through cooperation with each other, adding that the Egyptian government and nation attach special importance to the Islamic Republic of Iran.
