More Pain: Jobless Claims Up, Inflation Up, Recession Looms

Americans asked for more pain when they reelected Barack Obama…
And Obama’s going to bring it.

Jobess Claims Up: Applications for jobless benefits surged by 78,000 to 439,000 in the week ended Nov. 10, the most since April 2011
Inflation Up: Consumer prices rose slightly last month as higher rents and costlier food offset cheaper gas.
Recession Looms: The euro zone debt crisis dragged the bloc into its second recession since 2009 in the third quarter despite modest growth in Germany and France, data showed on Thursday.

Watch the subprime turd try to ban merchants from placing line-item charges for SubprimeCare on bills.

The Dumbocrats are going to need to do everything possible to hide the costs of their Orwellian-named Affordable Care Act. That will include getting the shiny-faced parasites out in the street.

Lots of bad luck. ATMs, Japanese tsunami, GW Bush, and now hurricane Sandy. The answer is. Borrow, spend, borrow, spend. Obama/Biden 2012.

The White House has announced that it suspects this is related to an anti-Islam video.

Damn straight we’re applauding. The fools voted for Obama and they are getting what they deserve. Atlas is shrugging.

It’s as the former mayor of New York, Ed Koch said after he was elected, “The people have spoken and they must be punished.”

My apologies if this has been posted, already.

The Washington Post has come out in favor of entitlement reform.

…Any serious debt-reduction plan has to include revenue and defense cuts. But no serious one can exclude entitlements.

With Republicans in control of the House and holding 45 votes in the Senate, this is basic political realism. It’s also fiscal realism, as the most recent Congressional Budget Office review of the long-term budget outlook, published in June, explained. Spending on retirement income and health care is headed inexorably higher as the population ages. In 2012, Social Security, Medicare and Medicaid accounted for 10.4 percent of gross domestic product (GDP). All other non-interest federal outlays, defense included, totaled 11.6 percent of GDP. If present policies and population trends continue, the three entitlement programs would grow to 12.9 percent of GDP by 2022, while all other spending would shrink by 4 percentage points as a share of GDP.

It’s eminently possible to rein in entitlements without imposing hardship on the neediest. …”

    Take ’em at their word.

  • Ohio and PA the hardest hit on these job numbers…Hate to say it but GOOD, Elections do have consequences, sorry but you idiots voted this moron in..Good luck, and my I suggest you all go out and buy a tent or a good tarp attached to your GM or Chrysler would work, and you better start getting used to bread & cheese for dinner…Way to go, vote ” Yes we con”…..

  • UnNFormed Voter

That damn Bush! He did this to us. Ohio and Pennsylvania got it right. Vote in the moron so the morons have representation. Ever eat a pine tree? Many parts are edible. That may be the best you can hope for with the change you got with your president. How’s that change working out for ya? Bet you have hope he can get it right with the second term huh?

  • myohmy

The morons voted for a loser for 4 more years. Reap what you sow.

  • Tighterlines64

The bammer does not give a hoot. He will say his plan has worked and is working and his ultramaroon disciples will just be led off the cliff by their noses and will blame Bush just before they hit the bottom. This is really a classic example of pavlovian training. Everytime they yell “Bush did it” they are rewarded with a new entitlement. Obama must just sit in the white house and laugh with all his buddies about how stupid people really are. He is a fraud, he knows it, but who the heII cares right?

  • jackson_murrell

And now the Kid-from-Kenya thinks he has a mandate for more. I guess this country has the president it deserves. And we are screwed.

  • jackson_murrell
