I hope they were before the storm as well. Of course, now they can’t flush.
But hey, let it mellow, the NYC marathon is so much more important………Bermudaberg tells me so…..

Its Obama ‘s fault he doesnt care…. Its the liberal disease of dependency that was rampant in New orleans as well.
Stop electing liberal morons who are nothing more than union thugs recycling money into each others pockets

You wanted this liberal utopia, you got it. Now you are going to have to deal with it.
Big Red commented:
I read elsewhere that Obama thought this storm was a godsend for him. Uh, no, Barry. This is your Katrina. That loud sound you hear is Bush laughing down in Texas.
Westerner commented:
C’mon Michella (rhymes with)…roll up your $1200 sleeves and help “YOUR PEOPLE”!
Johnny Walker Red commented:
Hey, knuckleheaded New Yawkers, YOU voted for these politicians. You deserve Democrat thinking and policies.

“Obamy, you’re doing a heck of a job.”

When we had a bad ice storm one year in my town, we were without electricity for four days. We improvised and filled a bathtub full of water and filled buckets to manually flush the toilet. We also fortunately had a wood burning fireplace and that was our main source of heat. It was like living in the Prairie days but we survived. They warned us days before the storm hit to be prepared….just like they warned these people that this storm was coming and prepare for it. I guess some people just do not know how to take care of themselves and depend on others to take care of their needs. I am not talking about the elderly, the young or the disabled, I am talking about the able-bodied people who are just too lazy to help themselves. Now see how your President and elected officials have turned their backs on you to leave you to fend for yourselves ? Maybe this will be an eyeopener for some of you that live in the Nanny States.

I feel like that lady is a decent person, and I feel compassion for these people. HOPEFULLY, New Yorkers and folks everywhere will begin to see that you have to be self-sufficient. Buy a bucket and some people! It isn’t that hard.
It does take saving for a rainy day (no pun intended) and the ability to plan ahead.
PS Let’s not become as mean as the useless libs we hate.
RedStateGal commented:
I meant to say “buy a bucket and some lime!” It’s only legal to buy people in non-Christian nations.

Well, color this “hick” from “flyover country” surprised! Urban sophisticates defecating in their apartment building hallways? Stay classy, New Yorkers.
DomesticGoddess commented:
They will STILL vote for him.
Finncrisp commented:
There will be plenty of porta pottys at the NYC Marathon. Gee, maybe Doomberg should have set them up where water was off. Incredible.
Finncrisp commented:
They banned big gulp, now they need to ban big dump!
Mahdi Al-Dajjal commented:
No matter how bad things are, these Leftists STILL will never vote for anybody who doesn’t have a ‘D’ after their name. It’s like asking for a muslim to vote for a Jew. If if was in their best interest, they simply cannot violate their religious beliefs that way. It would be like trying to convince the Pope to go to an x-rated movie with you.
Big Red commented:
Hey it’s not all bad. At least they’re eating.

#10 Miss Peach… “We improvised and filled a bathtub full of water and filled buckets to manually flush the toilet.” Where I live, that is a yearly occurrence during winter months! We also always have a few gallons of water on hand (we have well water) in case the power goes out. There are many small but powerful things an individual can do to help them to persevere during hard times. We made it a learning experience as well as fun for our kids when they were little… shadow puppets by the lantern light, letting them take turns cranking the handle on the radio, only having to flush the toilet (by way of bucket from the tub) after a number two LOL just basic survival knowledge that everyone should have. I am in awe that there are people who only rely on others.

Soon they’ll be throwing it out the windows at passers by like they’re “homies” at the zoo!
