AFL-CIO leader Richard Trumka told reporters yesterday that their is no fiscal cliff.
Current TV reported:
“Digging in for the looming battle over deficit-reduction, AFL-CIO President Richard Trumka will make organized labor’s case Thursday against cuts to Social Security, Medicare and Medicaid, declaring the doomsday debt talk in Washington a “manufactured crisis.”
“There is no fiscal cliff,” Trumka says in prepared remarks to the National Mediation Board Conference in Washington on Thursday. “What we’re facing is an obstacle course within a manufactured crisis that was hastily thrown together in response to inflated rhetoric about our federal deficit.”

Obama Administration Facing Massive Federal Lawsuit
[A lawsuit seeking the return of $43 trillion (with a “t”) and an audit
of all the TARP programs by an independent receiver has been filed
against senior members of the Obama Administration and the New
York group known as the “Banksters”.
[..]
The Plaintiffs have established the location of the $43 trillion
of laundered money in a criminal racketeering enterprise
participated in by the following individuals:
Eric Holder
Tony West
Kamala Harris
Jon Corzine
Robert Rubin
Timothy Geitner
Vikram Pandit
Valerie Jarrett
Anita Dunn
Robert Bauer
The lawsuit alleges that the Obama Administration actively borrowed
money from these “Banksters” to fund his political campaign in this
2012 Election and has not pursued any criminal charges against them.]

Krim murders: Nanny kills children of CNBC executive – report
CNBC Exec’s Children Murdered, 1 Day After
CNBC Reports $43 Trillion Bankster Lawsuit
[Since this information was surprisingly revealed by the mainstream
news organization there has been a very suspicious and deadly
fallout at the CNBC headquarters.
Within hours the original page for the article was taken down, and
CNBC senior vice president Kevin Krim received news that his
children were killed under very suspicious circumstances.
It seems that the murder happened first
and then the page was removed later.]
i know a few gay men were silenced for
Obama, but children?? can this be true??
Oil Executive and Renewable Fuel Researcher Assassinated
[Nicholas Mockford, a 60 year old British executive for the oil company
ExxonMobil has been shot dead in front of his wife in an assassination
- style killing in Brussels.
He was shot three times after leaving the Da Marcello
restaurant in Rue de Beyseghem at around 10pm on
Oct 14.
The reason why news of this murder is just breaking now is because
Belgian police imposed a news blackout and the areas government
kept the story tightly under wraps.
The fact that such a high profile figure can be assassinated in a public
place without any news appearing for two weeks just goes to show
you how easily it is to manipulate public perception, hiding things from
the media as well as the general population.]

Trumka is spewing communism because his union subscribes to it.
“The Taft Hartley Act of 1947 penalized unions whose officers failed to sign statements that they were not members of the Communist Party. Many Communists held power in the CIO unions (few did so in the AFL). The most affected unions were the ILWU, UE, TWU, United Public Workers, and Fur and Leather Workers. Other Communists held senior staff positions in a number of other unions.”

I guess Hostess was a trumped up crisis also. They saw the fiscal cliff and jumped. Unions only see never-ending cash.
America needs to jump before we reach the cliff.

AFL-CIO President Richard Trumka will make organized labor’s case Thursday against cuts to Social Security, Medicare and Medicaid
Organized labor has pension plan – that are upside down – and they do not receive Social Security. Their pension plan operates instead of Social Security. They also have Union health plans and are exempt from ObamaCare, so Medicare is not a concern.
As for Medicaid – that’s for low income and not Union members.
So many lies in such a short statement.

“The President was against same-sex marriage. You all here at #nn12 convinced him he had to change his mind.” @AFLCIO President Trumka

Trumka blamed Republicans for holding up growth.
“Republicans in Congress have responded to a massive jobs shortage and weak economy with obstructionism and dishonesty,” he said. “They have repeatedly blocked public investment that would create jobs and spur growth, including President Obama’s American Jobs Act.”

Trumka: Card check will happen
in second Obama term
AFL-CIO President Richard Trumka tells The Atlantic’s Molly Ball that so-called card-check legislation will happen in a second Obama term: “[...] You’ll see it,” he says. “That’s within the next term.” How is that possible, without a Democratic House of Representatives or 60 votes in the Senate? Trumka smiles. His eyes twinkle. “There’s another election between now and then,” (Snip) The legislation would make it easier for labor unions to organize by abolishing the secret ballot — and was a top labor priority during Obama’s first term. And it’s one of the enduring sources of tension between the labor movement

AFL-CIO Chief Trumka: Race is Less of an Issue in 2012 Election
Richard Trumka, president of the AFL-CIO, says race matters less – ‘The sky didn’t fall’ – in the 2012 election, which is overwhelmingly about jobs and the economy.

Four years ago, one of the big questions hanging over the presidential election was whether the nation was ready to elect its first African American president. Barack Obama’s victory spoke for itself.
Now, as President Obama seeks a second term, race still matters, but not as much, says Richard Trumka, president of the AFL-CIO, the US’s largest trade union federation.
“I’d be foolish to say it’s still not an issue, because it is,” said Mr. Trumka, speaking after a breakfast hosted by The Christian Science Monitor. “But it’s less this time, because we’ve had four years. The sky didn’t fall, everybody didn’t grow tails and a pitchfork.”
This election, he says, is overwhelmingly about jobs and the economy, including health care and pensions. “That’s what [workers] care about.”
