11-6-2012: The Day America Changed

November 6, 2012 is the day America changed.
8 to 9 percent unemployment is the new normal. It’s good enough. 46 million people on food stamps is OK. It shows we care. Debt spending is good. It will get paid off some day and if not, our kids can worry about it. Trillion dollar deficits make sense.

Socialized medicine is good. It will cost more, but did you honestly believe it wouldn’t? It doesn’t matter what you were told. Catholics should pay for abortions. Sandra Fluke is a prophet. Abortions and birth control should be free. We should fund abortions overseas, too.

The First Lady should be allowed to blow millions on lavish vacations. The White House parties should cost millions, too. The president should play as much golf and basketball as he pleases. They deserve it. They work hard.  They’re Democrats.

Greedy Americans should pay more taxes and millions of Americans who pay no taxes should receive more free money. It’s only fair. Businesses can afford to pay more taxes too. That’s what they teach you in school, right? We all know the Bush tax cuts that brought the deficit from $450 billion to $175 billion in four years and created millions of jobs didn’t work. Obama said so. And did you know Obama created 5 million jobs? Who cares how he came up with that number. In September he even created 600,000 part-time jobs somewhere. And, don’t you dare question his math.

Benghazi was a protest, or a terrorist attack. Obama said so from the beginning. Who cares anyway. Things like that happen all the time. And the media never covered anything up to help the president either. Right, 60 Minutes?

Al-Qaeda is dead or on the run.

We pushed the restart button with Russia. Putin is a democrat. He can be trusted. What do you mean there are Russian subs in the Gulf and off the east coast?

It’s not racist that 97% of blacks vote Democrat. It’s racist if you are white and vote Republican.

The media is your friend. The mainstream media is not biased. They would never hide anything from you.

Katrina was a national embarrassment.  It was Bush’s fault.  Sandy was not so bad.  And Obama did a great job focusing on it from between campaign stops.  The people are not suffering so much or we would have heard about it in the news.

America was once the land of the free. Now we want to be told what to do. More government is good. We want stuff.
On Tuesday America changed.

But the fight is not over.

God help us in the days ahead.

“Sometimes people just have to learn the hard way.” school of hard knocks sometimes has a better graduation rate.

If you own a small business and are thinking about selling or closing, better do it before the increased taxes take effect on Jan 1. The trouble is, finding a buyer who is stupid enough to invest in a business now.

What I’d like to see are union members trying to organize the fired workers that resulted from this administration’s policies.

As to the wonderment as to why there were record lines to vote but voting was down, if they were all Dems, it would have been a landslide. I’m thinking some technical companies should take a large sampling of electronic voting machines and reverse engineer and debug the software to see if your unverifiable electonic vote actually did what you the voter expected it to.

You forgot to mention that finally we are going stop impeding people, who speak quaint languages, from providing us with special pharmaceuticals, and also bringing a whole lot of their friends along with them to do the jobs we don’t want to do anyway.

    You forgot this:

US 2008 budget will be approved in 2016.

NEVER GIVE UP! zero started with 47% of the vote right out of the gate, he only needed 4% to win. we must not let them defeat us. our spirit is crushed, but we have to double down on our efforts to save the republic. so feel sad today but tommorow read drudge, read gateway, read breitbart, educate ourselves, and call them out on every corrupt thing they do. may god bless you all, and may god bless the united states of America.

Too despondent, angry, and sad today to even try to see a brighter future. I am sitting on a rock in Mordor on the way to Mt. Doom. There may be hope, but I can’t see it.

The great American experiment ….failed, but why would I think it would be otherwise?

If you are a believer or not the Bible gives us a good insight into groups of people and their willfulness to choose what is the worst for them.

God walks with Adam and Eve….Adam and Eve choose to walk alone.

Israel is led by God Himself for years, but the Israelites clamor and beg for a king….they get Saul.

Further, I have often wondered what it was like in Germany as the people embraced Hitler and National Socialism, and Russia as the people embraced Communism. I must believe it is much like it is in America today.

Man, lots of doom and gloom. The U.S. survived the Civil War. I think we can survive 4 more years of Obama. Have some faith in your country.

  • snewb

Wait until 2014 when Obamacare kicks in and the morons lose their current coverage or get laid off and or fined. Perhaps they will vote for a GOP Senate in 2014?

Changed ? is to mild of a word to use, died is more like it….The American voters have proved to me that they want to be baby-sat by Big Government and are willing to trade in freedom & liberty for free stuff and a chance to be lazy and unproductive.
Now that we can not trust anyone in government , and our own population (over 51% of it anyway) it is time to only worry about what matters the most our families. I still love my country and would do anything for her, but as long as this commie in chief is our president and there are idiots out there who cannot think for themselves and believe in all the lies, I will do the only thing I can do while this disaster is in office for 4 more years, that is to take care of my family by any means possible….We are so screwed..God help us…..

At 1:00 A.M., my child returned home from working at a FOX affiliate sobbing at the news. I warned her what would probably happen and I was not wrong. The vote has been wrestled from this nation, I am certain.

The blame is placed upon all the adults. Look what we have done to this nation. We have turned our backs on the very things we hold so dear for a long, long time. We thought it wouldn’t matter too much. We did not wake up in time and the penalty is going to be severe.

We are going to be asked to endure. It will be VERY hard on us. The world is going to be immersed in evil and we are its fodder. Turn back to your God or perish.

There will be a rude awakening with Barrycare. Children with chronic diseases will be denied care, the elderly as well. It is my understanding that with Barrycare, Medicare payments will triple by 2014. So all you seniors out there who voted for Barry and who are barely managing financially, good luck.

Cutler: agreed. we’ve turned 3rd world. screw your neighbor lest he screw you first is the norm. Everyone for themselves ’cause no one’s looking out for you. God is out, do whatever feels good to you, tomorrow it may be all gone. Recipe for disaster and defeat.

One thing is clear this morning — the pollsters were accurate. Guys like Nate Silver were spot on in predicting the outcome. Guys like Dick Morris were off by a mile. Turns out polls are much, much more accurate than gut feelings.

  • pcboss55

well said, may the USA as, as we knew her, RIP

  • Sasja

You saps out there who think you’re going to be on easy street with this president. Remember this. You are a useful tool, but when you are no longer needed you become a liability. Millions of dead Russians under Stalin spoke to you, but you refused to listen. Many of the living who escaped communism and emigrated to the US tried to warn you, but you refused to listen. Now, when you find yourself shackled under a totalitarian regime, and you will, remember it is what you voted for; what you wished for; what you got.

More than a third of the ballots cast at the precinct where I worked were new or address changes (WI allows same day registration).

States need to 1) clean up their voter rolls so the dead cannot vote.
    2) Double check all “same day” registrations to make sure they didn’t double vote.
    3) Use the voter rolls to check on tax forms filed. AFter all, if you “live” here, you need to file your taxes.

So it’s “E Pluribus Plura” from now on.

    Hope it works.

Hope being necessary you see, when there is no evidence.

  • Sasja

Oh, goody. You folks up north are in for some more fun.
