Romney Continues to Hold 6 Point Lead in Gallup Daily Tracking Poll… 51-45

Mitt Romney continues to lead by 6 points in the Gallup daily polling of likely voters.

As Karl Rove said earlier this week.

“This is the first time that Romney has hit 50 percent in the Gallup likely voter poll and the president has never hit 50 percent in the likely voter poll. And no candidate who has led in mid-October with 50 percent or more in the likely voter poll has ever gone on to lose.“

   We must remain strong and pray for Romney. This is great news but there is another debate and Romney has many facts and Obama’s own words to work with and debate on Foreign Policy can be the turning point that gives Romney even a much greater lead.

    Mitt Romney is now leading President Obama nationally in the RealClearPolitics average. He is over 50 percent in Gallup. No candidate over 50 percent in Gallup this late in the race has lost. His favorability rating (favorable to unfavorable) is higher than Obama’s. In electoral votes, when you average recent polling, he leads 206 to 201.

    Now you know and I know that turnout this year won’t be anywhere near even Dem +5. These polls are all deeply flawed at their base and don’t take into account Republican enthusiasm which Gallup does.

    Why the obsession with oversampling Dens I will never know.
