Report: Obama Offered to Reestablish Ties With Iranian Regime

Israeli paper Maariv reported today that the Obama administration has been holding meetings with the Iranian regime since 2009. And, Obama offered to reestablish ties with the evil regime.
The Times of Israel reported:
Soon after he took office, President Barack Obama began a process ultimately designed to reestablish full US diplomatic relations with Iran, including a reopening of embassies, an Israeli daily reported Sunday. The initiative, part of a wider shift in America’s diplomatic orientation, aimed at reaching understandings with Tehran over suspending its nuclear program, Maariv claimed, citing “two Western diplomats very close to the administration.”
The initiative led to at least two US-Iran meetings, the report said. Israel was made aware of the contacts, and opposed them.
But Iran rebuffed the “diplomatic hand” offered by the White House, Maariv reported. The Islamist regime “opposed any sign of normalization with the US, and refused to grant a ‘prize’ to the Americans,” according to an anonymous Israeli source quoted by the paper.
The information — the lead item on Maariv’s front page, headlined “Obama offered to renew relations with Iran” — comes on the heels of reports earlier this month that the US and Iran held back channel contacts toward establishing direct talks over Tehran’s nuclear program. Both the White House and Iran denied those reports.
According to Maariv, Deputy Secretary of State William Burns met with chief Iranian nuclear negotiator Saeed Jalili for an hour in 2009, and one other meeting between officials from both sides took place as well.

I think that was a real shock to a meaningful chunk of the electorate, and it would not have been nearly so potent if it had come from a book or an oped. Its power comes from the fact that Obama showed it himself.
It shouldn’t have been hard to foresee the consequences of his self-revelation. So why did he do it? He’s certainly capable of dissimulation. The One who won the presidency four years ago did not present himself this way. He and his acolytes very carefully portrayed him as a transcendent figure, a new kind of leader, the incarnation of elegance and brilliance. And that succeeded. So what’s up?
I think he’s cracking, and the inner nastiness and vulgarity are on display. He’s losing, and he’s angry, and he can no longer sustain the pretense of elegance and coolness.
Nobody ever said he was disciplined, did they?
Moreover, he is the victim of his own myth, the “I have a special gift” legend that is the core doctrine of his powerful narcissism. He thinks he is so charismatic, and so wonderful, that if we see him in all his splendor, we will love him as he so loves himself.
I think that’s false, and I think the shifts in the polls–people suddenly like Romney, people suddenly turning away from Obama–demonstrate that. We’ll see for sure on the 6th of November.

Obama was never brought up in a Two Parent home. He seems to believe for lack of warmth and character building that was so lacking in his upbringing, he is compensated for that love he never truly had as a child.
So, now he truly feels he needs to take on things that are BIG and WIDE. And for Obama he truly believes he can conquer a nation with love and understanding that wishes US and Israel dead. Now if that isn’t a kick in the head. What a sad little man is Obama.

The guy is in a panic. He is losing so big this election he will try anything. Where was he when the people of Iran needed him and America. Dying in the streets. They guy has no conscious. No dignity for those who died in Lybia attacks no recognition for their heroic acts.
Nothing from a guy to show he cares about our troops and their heroic acts. And now, there isn’t a thing he can do to be believed or trusted with. If his actions from Sept. 11 to today indicate his character and his lack of leadership and protection this was a horrible example of just how Obama doesn’t care a damn.

The sooner Obama is out of office the better we all will be. We need leadership and we have been craving it for years now.
Iran hates us. They hate Israel. Yet, he doesn’t sit down with Netanyahu. He has the View, Pimp with a Limp, Rolling Stone interviews, Letterman, Clooney fundraisers, anything but his job, he is suppose to be the leader of America and the eyes of the world are watching and they think we have elected some celebrity or rock star.

Ahmadinejad: Iran is Obama’s only way to stay in power
Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad has penned a letter to President Obama, telling his American counterpart that Iran is Obama’s only option for success, state-run media reported.
“Obama has only one way to remain in power and be successful. This way is Iran,” Ahmadinejad said in a nationally televised speech Tuesday, according to the Iranian Republic News Agency (IRNA).
“Obama should start cooperation with Iran in practice,” he said. “I have written a letter to Obama which will be published soon.”
