It’s Come to This… Obama Camp Sends Out Babs to Beg For Cash

They’re 6 points down in the latest poll.
They’re broke.
They spent too much money.

It’s so bad they’ve sent out Babs to beg for cash.

Barbara Streisand, Hollywood mega star and Obama supporter, sent out an emergency email to the entire Democratic Congressional Campaign Committee mailing list to get everyone to pony up and give President Obama some last minute donations. President Obama is in the homestretch of his battle for a second term against Republican challenger Mitt Romney.

According to The Hollywood Reporter, Streisand said in her email:

“The Democratic Party urgently needs your help. We’re just weeks from the most important election in a generation and every single thing Democrats like you and I spent a lifetime fighting for is on the line. Republican Super PACs are pounding President Obama and Democratic candidates with millions of dollars of vicious attack ads. And, they could tip the balance of the election for Tea Party extremists. That would be a disaster for America and we can’t let it happen. We must close the funding gap…  It’s up to you and me to make this happen.  Please rush an emergency contribution right away while there’s still time. President Obama needs a new Democratic Majority to get America moving again.”

Am hearing something that sounds like a DEM DIRTY TRICK to make Rs look bad in Florida. Cavuto interviewing a FL. Dem who looks pretty pleased about it, saying the not official but “official looking” letter was something the Gov. had talked about doing. Gov/Team Romney working on it now.

When haven’t they pulled a dirty trick when needed?

You’re a 1 percenter, with millions in the bank. Why don’t you give all that money to the Obama campaign? It’s what you believe in (spreading the wealth around), right? Put YOUR money where your big mouth is. Or are you afraid that you’ll never make all that money back, since people have realized you have absolutely no talent, and fingernails on a chalk board sound better than that screeching you think is singing?

If MrObama actually believed in himself, he would clean out his bank accounts, mortgage his house, borrow from everyone stupid enough to lend him money to support his own campaign.

“This week alone, the other side is expected to spend $57 million on TV advertising against us.

It gets worse: We just learned that Mitt Romney and the Republicans started this month with a $34 million cash advantage.
