Golfers Take Aim at Obama’s Face at St. Louis Driving Range

Area golfers have the opportunity to drive a ball into President Obama’s face at the First Tee Driving Range in St. Louis.
Romney’s face is also available but the Obama sign has more dents.

FOX 2 Now reported:

It’s not what golfers were expecting. When they pulled into the driving range there were giant targets about 75 yards out. One was a photo of President Obama and the other was a photo of his challenger, Mitt Romney.

“This is all fun, just all for fun,” said Paula Hediger, owner of First Tee Driving Range in south St. Louis County.

She tested the idea with a few golfers and found the feedback so positive she has decided to keep the targets.

“It’s amazing how many people sit and talk and joke about it,” said Hediger.

Some golfers wanted to make a political statement others were simply working on their game.

“I gave up on politics a long time ago,” said one golfer.

Another golfer took a different point of view.

“3 wood, 5 wood it doesn’t matter, hit him in the face.”

By the end of day one, the sign with the President’s picture had 13 dents while the sign with Romney’s photo has 12.
