Ex-U.S. Security Team Leader in Libya: “We needed More, Not Less” Security Staff in Libya (Video)

Lt. Col. Andy Wood, the former head of a Special Forces “Site Security Team” in Libya, told CBS that US officials in Libya needed more security not less. The Obama Administration withdrew his team a month before the deadly attack at the US consulate.
CBS News reported:
The former head of a Special Forces “Site Security Team” in Libya tells CBS News that in spite of multiple pleas from himself and other U.S. security officials on the ground for “more, not less” security personnel, the State Department removed as many as 34 people from the country in the six months before the terrorist attack in Benghazi that killed Ambassador Chris Stevens and three others.
Lt. Col. Andy Wood will appear this week at a House Oversight Committee hearing that will examine security decisions leading up to the Sept. 11 terrorist attack on the U.S. compound in Benghazi.
Speaking to CBS News correspondent Sharyl Attkisson, Wood said when he found out that his own 16-member team and a six-member State Department elite force were being pulled from Tripoli in August – about a month before the assault in Benghazi – he felt, “like we were being asked to play the piano with two fingers. There was concern amongst the entire embassy staff.”

While it is shameful how this administration has handled this and especially reprehensible that they refused security when asked. What I find just as bad is the willingness of this administration to offer up one of our citizens as a sacrifice just to cover their own a$$es for their failure. They have allowed a producer of a fifth rate film to take the blame for the violence that has gone as far as having a bounty put on this film makers life. If nothing else, this just proves to me that this administration cares nothing for us or this country and will do anything to stay in power.

Doesn’t it seem as though Obama reacts to Romney with a visceral, almost irrational level of dislike? Although Romney may not be everyone’s cup of tea, there’s no denying that he’s been generous with his own money, he’s been a good husband and father, and been extraordinarily caring to those in sickness and need (while hardly publicizing it).
So what is the reason for Obama’s “contempt” and “disdain”? Let me understand — Obama embraced Jeremiah Wright and has happily socialized with unapologetic former terrorists Bill Ayers and Bernadine Dohrn . What’s more, he apparently believes that Joe Biden — who has been wrong about every major foreign policy issue of the past thirty years — is the best choice to replace him as Commander-in-Chief should circumstances necessitate it. But Obama no use for Mitt Romney. Does that make any sense?
None of that inspires me with confidence about Obama’s capacity to evaluate people with any degree of accuracy — and that’s a problem when an important part of his job is accurately sizing up foreign leaders.

And no accommodations for our own. (security) and it was called for to deaf ears. Shameful, disgraceful and the ultimate mistake by a White House Administration. I see the fall of this administration because on 9/11 of all days, we witnessed something we never dreamed we would. An administration putting their needs before those of Americans who truly believed they had there back.

Well, since SOME of this is slowly but surely leaking out into the MSM, I can’t say they’re TOTALLY biased… However, we all know if this President had an (R) behind his name, this first-rate scandal would have led the nightly news and the front page of all newspapers from day one. This SHOULD be an uproarishly huge scandal… we’ve still got about four weeks to get the story out to those low-information voters.

I was raised in a military family, and while support in that population can swing just as it does in any other, but this, in my recent experience, is evidence of a huge swing.

I want a few questions asked and answered. Not like F&F. Demand answers for these bodies. I understand mistakes. I do not understand this fiasco that the Scoopers tried to help Obama pull off.
1. Who booked Rice on 5 shows and who was in the chain that told her what to say. Did she talk to Hillary? Did she talk to Obama? Did she talk to Valerie? Did she talk to Axelrod?
2. Why did Hillary and Obama meet caskets to talk about an invisible movie?
3. Why did Obama promote the invisible movie at the UN?
