Conservative Now or Never PAC announced today that it will be running $800,000 in television advertisements in the final days of the 2012 Election to support Todd Akin.

A conservative super PAC in Missouri, the Now or Never PAC, has placed $800,000 into an ad buy supporting Rep. Todd Akin in the final days of the Missouri Senate race, arguing that voters should support Akin because him will support Mitt Romney. The buy represents a significant boost to Akin’s campaign since the National Republican Senatorial Committee and other large Republican super PACs largely abandoned the race.

The ad argues that even if voters don’t like Akin himself, it’s important to have a Republican Senate to work with Romney.

“Mitt Romney can take our nation in a new direction, but he needs a Senate that supports him,” a narrator says in the ad. “That’s where Todd Akin comes in. You don’t have to agree with everything he says, but you can be sure, in the Senate, Akin will vote for Romney’s policies.”

“To avoid Washington gridlock and get this country back to work, our best choice is Todd Akin,” the narrator concludes.

    I am impressed with Akin… they were down to no money and being attacked by not only ‘the enemy’ but by those who are supposed to be friends, and still he hung in there and fought the good fight. I’m glad big bucks are rolling in for ads for him.

    I donated to Akin and to other Conservative Senate candidates because IF THE REPUBLICANS DO NOT WIN THE SENATE, SENATOR REID WILL SEE THAT NOTHING GETS DONE!!! And, everyone can see that he has been very effective in seeing that no House bills have been passed by the Senate since 2010 and NO BUDGET HAS BEEN PASSED FOR FOUR LONG YEARS!!!
