Mitt Romney Slams Democrats for Throwing Israel Under the Bus (Video)

Mitt Romney slammed Democrats and called on Obama to say whether or not he considered Jerusalem the capital of Israel.

The Politico reported:

Mitt Romney on Wednesday slammed the Democratic Party’s initial decision to remove from its platform a passage affirming Jerusalem as Israel’s capital, calling it just “one more example of Israel being thrown under the bus by the president.”

Romney — in an interview filmed before the Democrats restored both the word “God” and the passage about Jerusalem to the platform — told Fox News’s Carl Cameron that the omission of Jerusalem was a “very troubling development.”

“The president and his party have now changed their position. They now say that they’re not certain what the capital of Israel might be,” Romney said. “I find that one more example of Israel being thrown under the bus by the president. I think it’s a very sad day.”

   This is a perfect defining moment. They should roll the tape of them shouting down God for the remainder of the election cycle. A tribute for what they have become under Barry.

   What I found even more disturbing was this statement from the 2008 Democratic Platform -

   “Jerusalem is and will remain the capital of Israel. The parties have agreed that Jerusalem is a matter for final status negotiations. It should remain an undivided city accessible to people of all faiths.”

   I had been seeing comments about those “final status negotiations” and then anger of Israel over those comments (Israel will NEVER agree to divide Jerusalem) but I hadn’t realized this crap had been written into the 08 party platform.

   Notice also that the statements regarding Hamas and the Muslim Brotherhood are still missing from the ’12 platform.

   Too little, WAY too late. Obama’s true colors are shining through!
