Charles Krauthammer reacted to President Bill Clinton’s speech last night at the DNC:
“I think it was a giant swing and a miss. Mighty Casey, and Bill Clinton is a natural, struck out on this. I don’t think it will move the needle whatsoever… The This was one of the strangest nomination speeches ever given.”

I didn’t listen to Clinton. I heard excerpts and love the fact that he drew the distinction between being in all of this together or being On-Your-Own! (As he put it).

I’m glad he stated the need for shared prosperity. I’m glad he reminded us that they don’t know what prosperity is.

Yes, I want to be On-My-Own! Do you want government to whisper in your ear everyday and guide your hands and feet, or do you want to be On Your Own?

They criticize the RNC for Eastwood and deliver a former disgraced president who replaced substance with buzz words and a feeble attempt at wit. He was playing on what’s left of his popularity. This is the best they have anymore and Obama will be a huge letdown tonight (cue the crickets).

I wasn’t going to torture myself with listening to the speech but, like MC, I’m wondering if Clinton tanked it as a “fark you” to Bambi.

There’s no love loss between the two of them and Bambi is pretty much destroying the Dims’ chances of getting power back for another 12+ years by exposing them as so radical and incompetent.

Much Of Clinton’s success in budgets and spending and growth came form the fact that Republicans controlled both House & Senate starting in 1994. . .
Dems Lost House in 1994 in Gingrich Revolution then Bill changed course. .
He moved to center. . . . But Obama is the most leftist Senator and is left out. . . . This is a VERY Stark Contrast
Clinton supported cut in capital gains . . .which helped GROW the ECONOMY. . Obama taxes and adds regulations and has not passed a budget!!!

ARITHMETIC he says. . simple arithmetic. . but numbers not so simple and not all numbers mean the same thing. . what & how you spend, tax, and invest have consequences. . .
There is a saying “Figures don’t lie but Liars do figure- – Right Bill?”
so how about a budget. . .where is Obama’s budget that has been MIA. .
As Biden said, some me your budget and I will tell you what you value. .

Clinton said Obama inherited a mess. .Obama inherited nothing. .
he campaigned for it and promise he was THE ONE who would make it right! YES WE CAN!!!

Yet coming on the heels of Elizabeth Warren ( the fake Indian who cheated the system to get ahead) speech says things are bad and the system is rigged. . .
It was like these two (Warren & Clinton) see these past four Obama years in alternate universes. .
or do they???. .
Clinton had to reach so far back to find jobs growth that is was nonsensical.

Another Irony was Clinton is famous for saying “the ERA of Big Government was Over”
yet under OBAMA BIG Government got BIGGER. .MUCH BIGGER! Yes we Can!

Our Credit Rating fell under Obama from Triple A,
US Competitiveness declines under Obama,
and so has education as Clinton pointed out last night. .
what rose is gas prices, food prices and Health Insurance costs. . .and massive debt!!!!
Yes We Can!

The reason overall Healthcare spending not rising as a whole is that
PEOPLE WITHOUT WORK CANNOT AFFORD TO GO TO DOCTORS, HAVE EXPENSIVE ELECTIVE SURGERIES OR BUY DRUGS!!!!!!

Funny in opening clip of Clinton running in 1992, they cite 10MM American out of work and it was horrible with MSM talking down economy and President Bush I. . .
yet now we have 23MM Americans OUT of work (that’s TWICE AS MANY),
lowest level of employment as % of population (with many new jobs being low paying)
1/6 of America in Poverty (That’s way UP. . a record!)
and 43 MM Americans on Food-stamps. . Double from Bush II. . .
We are out of Control under Obama and standing on the precipice. . .YES WE ARE!!!

And the Shared VALUES Obama espouses seem too communal as in communism. . .

This was a speech of Bill Clinton explaining Barack Obama’s Failure. .
Obama himself says he got an incomplete on what he was supposed to do. .
YES HE CAN . . . so does Bill. .

Obama pissed away two years not focusing on jobs and economy when the DemocRATs controlled BOTH Congress and the Senate. . . YES HE CAN!
instead Obama played golf, YES HE CAN!
spent like a drunken sailor, YES HE CAN!
stimulated his political contributors with stimulus and crony capitalism, YES HE CAN!
and took over GM, Chrysler and Healthcare YES HE CAN!

More over Obama left us and FUTURE GENERATIONS DEEP IN DEBT. . .
Not only $5Tril Debt but $2Tril of QE devaluation of dollar. . YES HE CAN!!
with public Education failing (whose fault?)
and College grads can’t find jobs

Clinton painted World coming to an End if Republicans win in November. .
Dirty Water, Dirty Air, Rotten Food, Crumbling roads and Air Traffic safety in peril

But Clinton Failed to mention our Nobel Peace Prize winning President mucking up Middle East, cutting Israel out, as well as Poland and Eastern Europe, Loosing Olympics bid for Chicago while apologizing & bowing to tyrants. YES HE CAN!

Clinton’s own wife Hillary was snubbed earlier yesterday by Chinese VP – – in China. . LOL

Clinton also did not mention Osama Bin Laden and Islamofacists. or securing our borders and comprehensive immigration reform.

He closed trying to keep Hope alive by saying he believe yet Didn’t even mention he came from Hope, Arkansas and still has hope. . guess you gotta hope for the hope

Clinton talked about Obama having a shared value (guess he has not seen the movie 2016:Obama’s America or read p 47 in Obama’s Dream From My Father.),
and is THE ONE to help us follow in the footsteps of our Founding Fathers to create a MORE PERFECT UNION. . .

Except the reality is that OBAMA divides,
never reaches across unless he wants something,
never acting statesmen like or presidential . . .
Obama pushes class warfare, War on Catholic Church, War on Women, War on ethnic groups. . .

Obama is no uniter. .

This is a speech better suited for four years ago. . .when no one knew Obama. . now people are tired of him . .
he has FAILED. . he is Incompetent, Inept and Inexperienced
(Clinton himself called THE AMATEUR).
He is not a leader but a glorious community agitator or organizer. .
and as for America’s greatness, HE DIDN’T BUILD IT!

The country needs a CHANGE. .it needs LEADERSHIP. . it needs some R&R

That is why they are changing the venue tomorrow from the 75K seat stadium to this tiny hall of 20K. . . HE COULDN”T FILL IT!!! They feared a sea of empty seats.

Despite all their efforts at myth making at the DNC, the Dems only reveal they consider government the highest form of order, they booed God, and Woodward’s new book show Barack Obama as a Beta Male. Which is far worse than him losing his temper.

And Bill’s speech was not intended to re-elect Barack Obama. It was intended to elect Hillary Clinton in 2016.

I’ve said it before, I love me some Charles Krauthammer!

I was completely disheartened after looking in now and then at Clinton’s speech and hearing all the cheering and tear-wiping, thinking, “Man! There are people who are actually THRILLED at the thought of these policies?”

Then Charles said what he said, and I trust him even when I don’t always agree with him, so I felt better. Then I heard him describe how impatient obama must have been standing behind that curtain, waiting and waiting, and waiting some more…even harder when you have a Messiah complex – and I laughed out loud and slept like a baby last night.

My problem with Pres. Clinton’s speech is not really with the content. What he is doing is offering the best face he can on the present, and framing the existing problems in ways that suggest potential solutions. And if he were going to be President, I would more seriously consider his points, even if they are more than a tad optimistically shaded.

But for things to work out the way President Clinton suggests would require President Obama to follow President Clinton’s advice. That hasn’t happened so far, and anybody who is aware of Obama’s open-mic episode with the Russian ambassador

thanks for the fact checking link; I noticed lots of factual errors in the speech. None of which the MSM will report on, I’m sure.

Dana Perino said yesterday on Fox that the “surplus” Clinton is often attributed to leaving Bush DID NOT EXIST. A fact mentioned recently in a CBO report which, apparently, the MSM also missed.
