A top Iranian general said his country’s enemies would not survice if the regime is attacked.
The AP reported:

An Iranian general has said that his country’s enemies will not survive if they attack Iran’s nuclear sites.

A Friday report by the semiofficial ISNA news agency quotes Gen. Farzad Esmaili, chief of air defense, as saying “we vow our enemies will not survive,” if they attack Iran’s nuclear sites.

The nuclear sites are a symbol of pride for Iran, he said, adding that “we will defend our dignity with our lives and blood.”

The remarks come a day after Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu urged the world to draw a clear “red line” to stop Iran’s nuclear program.

    Why Haven’t We Seen This?

[We have a strategy drawn up for the destruction of Anglo-Saxon
civilization... we must make use of everything we have at hand to
strike at this front by means of our suicide operations or by means
of our missiles. There are 29 sensitive sites in the U.S. and in the
West. We have already spied on these sites and we know how we
    are going to attack them.

    [..]

The Americans are not ready to send a million men (to defeat the
Islamic Republic),” Abbasi said. “Even economic sanctions against
the Islamic Republic will fail thanks to opposition from the Western
public opinion and the refusal of most countries to implement them.

Dubai police chief warns of Muslim Brotherhood, Iran threat

Africa have to know that the Gulf is a red line, not only for Iran but also

No human rights without religious freedom

[Ironically, some of today’s most brutal violators
voted for the declaration when it was first proposed.

Iran is one of them. In addresses before the General Assembly, President
Mahmoud Ahmadinejad has condemned other countries while ignoring his
own hideous human rights and religious freedom record. Notwithstanding
the recent release of Christian pastor Yousef Nadarkhani, whom Iran had
sentenced to death for apostasy, conditions have sunk to a level not seen
since the Ayatollah Ruhollah Khomeini’s reign. Mr. Ahmadinejad’s regime
has ramped up the detainment, torture and execution of its citizens based
on religion. It targets reformers among Iran’s Shi’a Muslim majority, as
well as religious minorities, including Sunni and Sufi Muslims, Baha’is and
Christians, while its senior officials, including Mr. Ahmadinejad, promote
Holocaust denial and other forms of hatred against Jews.

German Paper: North Korea Tested Nuclear Warhead for Iran

[North Korea detonated two secret tests of atomic warheads with highly enriched uranium in 2010, according to a German press report. The newspaper Welt am Sonntag reported with reference to western security circles, as some secret services assumed that the government in P’yongyang at least one of these tests had carried out for the Iranians. This would mean that Teheran, with North Korean aid, has constructed and already tested an atomic warhead. According to the newspaper Welt am Sonntag, this assumption is based on data of the Preparatory Commission for the Comprehensive Nuclear Test Ban Treaty Organization (CTBTO).]

    re: these people..

[Islamist-allied operatives appointed by Obama are undermining U.S. security policy - explains counter-Intelligence expert, Prof. Clare Lopez. Aimed at co-opting Americas foreign policy in the Middle East, a network including well-known American diplomats, congressional representatives, figures from academia and the think tank world - with ties to the clerical regime in Tehran - is directing the Obama Administration's policy towards the Islamic Republic of Iran and the Middle East.]

believe they are those i was referring to, if not,
there’s plenty more to choose from.. /semi-sarc/

  13. More reason to make sure there’s no one left there to push the red button.

  14. Bark, bark, bark.

  15. Yes…IF they are attacked, they will respond. Perfectly reasonable statement I would have thought.

  16. Isn’t that about the same thing the US and Israel generally say. Shock and awe, anyone? Why does everyone think its okay to condemn Iran – belittle them (like third graders do) and be so against them? Its Israel and the US who go into countries and destroy them. Iraq started the Iran Iraq war – just exactly what ACTION has Iran done that has hurt or killed anyone?

People are influenced by the main stream medias propaganda – the main stream media is owned by the largest corporations in the world. Those corporations steal and plunder our money and pollute the planet without conscious because the US gov’t allows them to do it and ignores all their criminal acts – and the gov’t WANTS war because all the cronies profit from it (selling the weapons and then contracting to rebuild what they just destroyed) – just like a money tap. – Gov’t wants war – Corporations want war – main stream media presses for war with a chock full of lies and propaganda – AND PEOPLE READ IT, BELIEVE IT AND MAKE MORONIC COMMENTS – not even realizing how they are being played to act against their best interest (which is peace among other things).

Wake up folks – don’t just make insults and vicious comments because thats what main stream media told you to do – be an adult – use your OWN mind – don’t be a sheep and toe the line – rise above that by using your discernment…stop being played….

  17. #7, ponderon: “If we fail in removing this regime from power, i am afraid we are going to be witness two holocausts one for Jews one for Christians…..”

Exactly, too bad life is real. Ahmad, a-hole and company, rejoice in your martyrdom, you’re toast if you decide to go all the way. We will endure.

#18, dave: Go ahead dork, make an ass out of yourself, but you lucked out, at least it’s free speech here, right?
